About this score

Ashboy kindly let me do a percussion arrangement of his piece, which sounded really awesome to begin with, I'm just hoping I can match what he did!

Fantastic! Just...........I wouldnt want to play the xylophone at the end :) Most arrangements have extremely difficult parts, but this didnt seem to have any impossible ones :) good work
Its just a fast piece. Which is why I decided to do it synthesized instead of a real instrument ;)

I try to make everything as practical as possible, except Night of Nights (For obvious reasons). Also I am really glad you like it! It was a fun piece to write and I am looking for music similar to it to arrange as well.

I have thought about this for over three weeks and I still have no idea what you are talking about....

Absolutely awesome, the end sound great. Once again, I love how the percussion ensemble has colored the piece, it really makes this a unique arrangement. DEFINITELY enjoyed it, great job again!!! =D

Thank you! I have one last thing that I got to do before I can call this thing finished, accents, dynamics, and all the other little pretty stuff I have to add in, which will be the final update for this!

BlackTecno's picture

Updated with the final part to the piece and a little editing at the beginning! Enjoy!

BlackTecno's picture

Okay! Added it to the group of awesome scores!

Went back and revised, added, took out, emphasized, ect. certain parts of what I did and here is the result. It might be a while before I get to the last movement because I want to go back and make sure I have what I want. Then I also got to do dynamics after that. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy!

I enjoyed so much, that it made me go back and revised it, i can't wait to hear the last movement.

Once again, someone has made a FANTABULOUS arrangement of this. Sorry it took me so long to comment!!! I really really really like the instruments you have used in here, it's just so fun listening to other people's interpretations of this piece!!! You even changed a couple things melody-wise, and it all sounds great!! I would have to say you matched up the original, great job!! Thanks so much for making this arrangement, I'm really happy with it. Just one thing, are you gonna finish it? You don't have to, it's completely fine if you end it where it is. :D

BlackTecno's picture

Definitely going to finish it. I need that final bang in there! And thank you for the comment! It really does help! And as the piece comes the melody might change a bit more because of the variations of instruments and such. Again Thank You for listening!

SOO COOL!!! This impersonates rain a lot better than mine does.

BlackTecno's picture

I just saw this now (-.-)'''
But yeah, it was more of I needed some sort of metal in there. This isn't like a smooth river, it's rain, which is staccato, but it's still flows like water so it needed to sustain. Felt like a glock would be a good choice

TheNewKid's picture

OH! I like it a TON. My only concern would be that the timpani part is a little overpowering

BlackTecno's picture

Yeah, this is the part that Ashboy wrote, and I'm planning on changing some of it, but after I get everything else in so I'm not messing around with anything too important

YESSSSS!!!!!!!!

EPIC CHOICE OF INSTRUMENT!!!!!!!!!

This is great!

Thanks! Figuring out what parts were where were easy, the hard part is adding my own style to it (Which some of this will come later).

This is a piece I arranged from a composition made by Ashboy. Here's a link to the original:

Wow. That was amazing. Really. This should be in a movie or a game or something wow

BlackTecno's picture

Thanks but I can't take full credit for this, it is only an arrangement

SaxyScott's picture

How did you get the rain/thunder effects?

BlackTecno's picture

You'll have to ask Ashboy, although I do know how he did it, I would prefer you to ask him rather than me. I don't want to say something he doesn't want to give away.
