I love your username clever username man. Its truly brilliant xP
Ahaha, thank you Mae. :) I try. And I really admire your piano compositions, by the way!
Change the eighth notes in the 2nd & 3rd parts at the beginning to halve notes, or at least into quarter notes. Same thing goes for the 1st part at measures 16-18. Also, you might want to change 4th trombone part into bass trombone part. To do that right click the name --> Staff Properties --> Change Instrument.
I totally appreciate the feedback. I thought of that originally, but I'm just afraid that making the notes longer would lose the driving pulse that is really necessary for the song. I probably could just make the background chords quieter, but I'm too lazy to go through and change them! But good point for the bass bone part, I'll get to fixing that.
Don't change the eighth notes. It drives the song and sounds perfect with the rest of the song. Awesome job by the way!!!
This is great! I've heard very few songs of the Beetles (and hated them), but this one I really, really liked!! It was GREAT!!! Your arrangement is very nicely put together!!
Thanks so much! They do have a lot of under-rated songs, especially on their White album, that are so musically structured and just plain awesome. Don't give up on them! If I had to pick another Beatles song to arrange, it would be "Blackbird," but I don't want to risk messing up such a beautiful song! :) I definitely appreciate the compliments.
I'll check that song out! Your welcome :)
Just in general, do you think the 2nd and 3rd parts are too busy during the verses? I was trying to emulate the guitar, but it almost sticks out more than the melody, it seems.
You could maybe add "mp" (mezzopiano) for the 2nd and 3rd part, but I'd say they are perfect as they are ;)
