About this group
Liszt's S.392, Hexameron, was a massive collaboration between the greatest pianist composers of the day: Liszt, Chopin, Thalberg, Pixis, Herx, and Czerny ( Alkan is excluded because he turned anti-social ).
Our present generation and age is marked by the use of the computer and world wide web. Across the world, we are able to collaborate and relive what the greats did before. I have personally invited some composers I am fimiliar with. Our objective can be summarized by 3 steps.
1. Decide upon the theme ( Suggestions are Dies Irae, Paganini's 24th caprice, etc. ) and organize our personal objective and contribution.
2.Compose our variations. Make sure to include your name on the score
3.Send your variations to me. I will complete the editing and adjoining sections.
