Well, I've decided to use a tenor banjo instead. Violin sounded better than the musical glasses, but honestly, none of the instruments sounded just how I wanted the piece to... so I settled for that instead...
Hey, Jayke; have you ever tried using "Violins" instead of musical glass? I feel like the flow and drone of the violins would add to the sad dreary effect somewhat. The glass sounds a bit choppy, and kind of off beat in the beginning for some reason to me.
