Beautiful. So blasted beautiful I'm going to go bang Song of Storms on the piano now. I've been inspired by the sound of rain!!!!!

Holy chiz muffins you crazy little violin-playing homeboy!!!! I have listened to the original score a few (million) times and I was like "Erm ain't no way the videoscore is gonna be as epic" and it was EVEN MORE FREAKING EPIC!!!! You amaze me, with your fabulous composing talents and such. Plus you can actually play the pieces you write (which gosh knows I can't), which is like crazy!!! GOOD GOSH DANG JOB!!!! That is all.

Owlman142's picture

So. Awesome. Definitely the best song I've herd on musescore. You and the girl in the pink dress are really good at playing fast!

Hello Ashboy, I was comparing the video and the sheet music and I can not believe what you did. I play the cello and I have some few friends, I'll see if convinced to take this magnificent piece among all

Ever since you posted this website I've been using it to drown out my sibilings' screaming. It's quite soothing =D

hms_victory's picture

Whoa! You guys must have been sweating. There were a few parts where it went a little flat or sharp, but, I'm a violinist, too, and I totally understand. AshBoy, that bow was going really fast. I'm actually going to try and play the first violin part. WOW WOW WOW!!!!

AshBoy.'s picture

Haha, I may have been, just a little.... out of nervousness, if nothing else. Good luck with the part, its a TON of fun to play =D

Great interpretation!

AshBoy.'s picture

Yes, I try to interpret my own pieces to the best of my ability =P

4dmuffin's picture

Wow. This was great with actual instruments! I am actually a fan of the 3/4 section and the end, cause they're pretty awesome :) I compose fugues AND I KNOW THIS ISN'T A FUGUE but it's still great anyway...

AshBoy.'s picture

I especially like the end of the 3/4 section, where it transitions into 4/4 again. Thanks, haha =)

mindbomber's picture

awesome i would be embarrassed to even play a piece in front of a camera so congratulations, and it sounds almost exact, tell your family they are wonderful

AshBoy.'s picture

Haha I will, thanks so much!

Ronan's picture

Spectacular! Although, now listening to it actually being played, some notes when played fast above the high D are a little 'off'. I know it is hard, and being able to play it decently is quite an effort! Quite some talent you have there, young Vivaldi.

AshBoy.'s picture

Haha, thanks. Yep, this performance definitely could have used refining

JChiefNote's picture

It seemed to rush a little bit; you played it a little faster...and got gradually faster...at the beginning than at the break in the middle of the piece.

AshBoy.'s picture

Yeah, we have a pretty significany problem with that. We do the same with Waterfall.

lucky13's picture

your sister and brother all seem like they need centered shoulder rests.

AshBoy's picture

Haha, maybe so..... We all definitely need to work on playing position, that's something that none of us are really disciplined in =P

@Ashboy's Sis

AshBoy's picture

Þijokruysi's picture

AshBoy's picture

Haha, I wish. Thanks Sepehr!!

All I can say is this: wow! This is even more awesome seeing the song actually performed. This is WAAAAAY cool.
SpuddBoy2, permission to use your trademark "Oh, @#%^&!*%#"? Of course, I'd never *really* swear, but this is amazing!

AshBoy's picture

Yup, same with me, &%#&$!%^$@ is my only allowed swear word, derived from Spudd XD Thanks so much!! =D

Mega's picture

Dude, EPIC! Even better in a really performance!

AshBoy's picture

Thanks Mega, I can't believe we really outdid the simulated version.... =D

Apexy no. 2's picture

Spectacular! You guys did great! I love this piece!

AshBoy's picture

I'm glad, thanks a lot!

tremcen's picture

WOW!!!! THIS IS EVEN EPICER ON REAL INSTRUMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AshBoy's picture

Real instruments always sound better, its awesome. Now all's i need is to find a thunder instrument.

mindbomber's picture

try a timpani don't know how good it will be,or bass drum, you know something big and low for a kind of thunder sound

Þijokruysi's picture

You might be able to find somthing called a "thunder sheet".
I've seen them used. You shake it and it warps back and forth.

Gabriel G. Vazquez Leon's picture

wow chico that was Fantastico i'm trying to make a score for my orchestra at school and it is nothing compared to this great job on the song.

AshBoy's picture

Thanks!

I play semi professional classical violin and have been trained as an opera singer . I listened to this piece and thought this was cool Marvelous when I was younger I played with my siblings in quartet fashion with my violin, these were the years. Enjoy these years cause now I think I didn't enjoy them as much as I could have. I am constantly looking for opportunities to "jam".

AshBoy's picture

I'll enjoy them as much as possible! thanks!

Second_Rachmaninov's picture

This sounds so much better in real life! I totally agree with iHasCheese. I have a dad who plays guitar, and a mom who plays ukelele, but not in classical, contemporary, or cinematic styles, which is how I compose ): The closest I've every done to this was an improvisation for clarinet and piano with a friend for 6th grade graduation. Enough about my problems though, this is wonderful!!!
