Fun! I really like your melody, its jumpy and exciting. You work quite well with all the band parts. I really don't see anything to critique you on, this was a great composition! I think one of the best ways to get better is to simply keep composing. You definitely have the skill, just keep exploring into what you like to compose, and if you are not satisfied with something, make it better 'till you are satisfied with it. Sorry I don't have any particular feedback for you (I actually barely know ANY music theory), I'm not really the guy for that. I just know about String ensembles :/ Anyhow, I enjoyed the piece! :D
have you started on movement 2 yet?
movement 2 is still working out in my head. i havent thought enough about it to get it on paper. but rest assured, it will happen!
