Fur Elise Arranged for percussion

About this score

First let me say thank you space face for letting me copy and paste large chunks of your piano version, the authentic one, and move the octave up or down to meet the treble clef 15ma or treble 8va. This was well interesting. I feel arranging music is more difficult than composing because you have to live up to a certain standard. With this I was dealing with Beethoven. One of, if not the, the best composers of all time. I wanted to put my own spin on things but keep true to Beethoven and his anonymous "Elise". And so here we go!

Nice arrangement, but haven't you just got the piano part and pasted in various spots over 4 different instruments? Sounds nice though, having different pitches.

Yes that's kind of how it worked out. That's why I said that it was some more difficult for me to arrange this than write original works. I didn't want to just take the score and transpose it up an octave or two because of clef requirements, but I didn't want to take the score too far away from the original. Maybe it was a bad idea to arrange a piece this famous because everyone knows it, and wants a familiar sound.

Perhaps, then I guess people have a much keener ear to hear out for mistakes, however sometimes when arranging you have to be bold, I'm not entirely sure thouhg, because I generally dont arrange, nice job though, you definately did keep the original melody, perhaps what most people expect.
