I'm surprised you didn't mention Carlos' recordings as he has provided some of them (not yours) for broadcast - he does a lovely job of it, as always.
Thank you! I need to be sure to go back through all the pieces on here that he has recorded and link to them -- and share them as #musotracks and such. He's an amazing player and I've been so focused on the orchestra recently that I've been very negligent of his work!
I updated the performance on this sheet music, so it sounds closer to what I'd expect, playing it. Still some subtlety to add, but this is closer to the right idea.
nice piece. rather sedate for a wedding?
I'd prefer "dignified" or "stately" to "sedate", but I can see your point.
It is 'stately' completely . I always prefer piano solo but honestly it's need to be a great orchestral piece , then it will be a great weeding piece . something like Mendelssohn's Weeding . Think about it Arthur .
I need to practice my orchestration, and this would be a good enough place to start.
