Maybe a new function? Chord Analyser and creator of e new voice

Hi all, i would like to have a chord analyser :-)
it should works like this steps:
- Import a Midifile
- 1. function -> Analysis of the Harmony
- 2. function -> write the chord at right part on the score

maybe with the same function(analysis of harmony) it's possible to create a new voice for example the 3. or the 5. -> it would be a great help for choir scores.

Thank you for your great work.

MarioKart 8 Vs. MarioKart 8 Deluxe?

So, I had played MarioKart 8 with my parents on the Wii U for a while, and eventually got EVERYTHING. Did all the races (200cc Included) Got all the karts and characters, and we kinda just dropped the game. Around the time I got the Switch , however, Nintendo was already making the Deluxe MarioKart 8. I did my research and saw that they added some new stuff (Assisted turning, King Boo) But wanted to know from some off YOU GUYS whether or not you think I should get the game. If I already conquered the original, should I get the Deluxe?

Piano Roll Youtube Export is ready for testing!

Hi!

Today, we've released a new feature for the beta testing. Now you can export your videos to youtube in the new piano roll format
This feature is available only for scores not longer than 6 minutes.

We’ll be happy to receive feedback from you.

To export your video, click on “Export to youtube” button in the score menu and choose “Piano Roll” as the score type.

At the moment export takes an average of 30-50 minutes (we are working on optimization).

New Piano Roll Feature on the musescore.com

Today marks the release of MuseScore Piano Roll. Piano Roll is a popular and convenient method to display piano notation in a way that not only simplifies learning a new piece for novice musicians who lack a teacher, it also beautifully visualizes each score.

(Video captured from https://musescore.com/classicman/scores/33715 )

Give it a try by simply clicking on the Piano Roll icon now available on all solo piano scores. Be sure to tell us what you think in Improving MuseScore.com!

All of these improvements are designed to not only make MuseScore.com the most valuable resource online for sharing and discovering great musical works but for learning them as well.

We hope you’ll be as excited about this new feature as we were to create it for you, and as always we look forward to your feedback.

This is just the first of an exciting series of updates and releases for MuseScore PianoRoll; we're already hard at work on improving the experience!

Revolution 2?

So hear me out

Last summer was a golden age in RSA's history. Bountiful Poetry, Art, and Music was created during this peaceful period. It was beautiful, it really was, and I feel that it tragically came to an end during the first few school months. Then the Dark Age came: nothing much happened, "Musix Fox" was the biggest controversy, and everyone said they were waiting for something interesting. So, I wished it would become a Second Golden Age this summer. So here I am, watching RSA become pretty much a spam/crappost (gotta keep it PG) server, almost as content-less as the Discord Server.
For real though, we used to have about 5 or so discussions per day at most, with only like 2 being heavily commented on. It wasn't nearly as active, but it was usually people talking and communicating about their lives, or making jokes, or whatever i dont remember. Now I feel a whole bunch of peeps in this group are making silly little discussions of "lyric games" or whatever. Well, I say we have cool stuff once again.
So what do we do? Well, of course, we are gonna overthrow Rebecca Y. and implement a new communist regime with Rebecca Y. at its center. To do this, however, we will need to have a REVOLUTION 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO.
so who's on the train?

What do you think about religion?

Coming from a Christian, I have mixed views. Religion is fine and dandy, but RELIGION KILLED JESUS. (And hundreds, maybe thousands, of others)

The Pharisees, who were religious leaders, felt Jesus was violating their religion. They killed him.

But religion has also molded much of the future for us (I don't think I said that right :P)
You know, prayer, reading Scriptures, meditating on it, that has helped me A LOT. Does that count as religion? I have no idea! So, I dunno.

I think religion is the pursuit of righteousness.

I think that religion is good, but discriminating people who don't follow it? Not good. It is good, but being too legalistic? Not good.
It's good, but humans messed it up.
For me, it's not religion that's important, it's relationship. With Jesus.
For me, being a Christian is not trying to pursue righteousness and religion, but a relationship with God.

What's your take? :P

(btw, I'm not separating Christianity and religion, but being religious and being Christian )

CCC#2 - "The Wanderer"

 CCC#2 is here!

Based on the results of the survey I sent out on Friday 7th June, it occurred to me that several of the themes which I suggested, and asked you to vote on, would in fact fit quite nicely together. Therefore, for this second competition, I have found another painting by Caspar David Friedrich, since the response for “The Watzmann” was very good. I am also going to give a genre of music (as wide as possible, but still something to go on) and a short story available in the file below.

If you would like to help judge the competition, or have any other queries, please message on Musescore, or via discord @jte#9811

Details of the competition:

- The deadline will be in 4 weeks time (Saturday 29th June)

- The genre, as chosen by the survey will be “Film Music”. This is deliberately a very wide genre in order to give the contestants freedom of creativity. There will be an award for the most original take on the task, as with the first competition.
Obviously this theme can be interpreted to fit your desires.

- The painting (shown below) and the story are both in the google docs file. If you have any issues accessing this file, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help.

Rules:

- Your work must be completely original/all your own work.

- Be nice when critiquing other people’s work. Constructive criticism is fine, but don’t be rude. If you do, you will be disqualified from the competition and banned from the group.

- All pieces and comments must be appropriate.

Please let me know if you’re planning on taking part. I’d like to have an idea of who might be competing.

Thanks,
- Joe
