Bring a song that combines Impressionism and Romanticism. This song is the third in my "The Toy's Dance" suite. Please give us comments and guidance, thank you!
I have most of my experience writing for strings and brass but I tried to break out of my comfort zone this time by writing for a saxophone ensemble (per request for a school festival). This quartet is what I came up with. Any criticism about what I could do to make this fitting the style of a sax quartet would be greatly appreciated.
This group is to challenge all of you to try writing a short 8 measure hymn like (4 part harmony using grand staff) piece each day throughout the school year! This will help you grow in many ways as a composer, for you will learn how to train your ear to create 4 part harmonies that sound beautiful, you will become a more creative yet structured composer, and you will learn how to break out of composers block!
How does everyone think all these famous and fantastic composers, Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart and more make their compositions great?
Everyone what do you think about the compositions that all the famous composers make? Tell me in the comments please!
like best friends brother, make it shine or shut up and dance
create lyrics then say the notes and I well make 2 a score.
I tried to compose a start of an etude. Do you like it so far? (Only right hand with only 6 measures)
If anyone comments it is at least decent, I will keep on composing this piece.
hey guys i've just composed this Fantasia in A flat minor, i've taken the inspiration from the moon, the sea and a painting that you could see on my Youtube channel. Tell me what do you think in the comments section ;D
Hello, This is a request for creators out here. I was wondering if someone could arrange the song: Ascension by Bruce Faulconer. I have no time to do it because I have to much going on with school. Thanks!
I just started playing alto sax last week for a summer program and I think all in all it’s an easy instrument to start off on (maybe because I have been playing clarinet for 3 years). But I am still struggling with holding it. It’s very heavy and sometimes my thumb is swollen from holding it. My friend who has been playing alto sax for 4 years says my sax is bigger than hers. I’m sure its alto because my music teacher gave it to me and I can’t switch it out for a different one. Does anyone have any tips on how to hold the sax? Thxxx and I appreciate it- Flutinetist ^~^
I can't decide if I should switch to Baritone or Tenor Sax, or if I should stay an Alto Sax. Can you help me decide
