Hope y'all are having a great day!
I added a new score here!
It's inspired by renaissance music,
it might not by the most historicly accurate piece,(especially in the B section),
but give it a listen!
Hope you enjoy!
~feedback is more than welcome~ :D
Hope y'all are having a great day!
There are days when I absolutely hate Musescore 3. Sure, it is nice that things get automatically spaced in the score so nothing overlaps, so wow gee wiz, uh, isn't that just how it should be? What I hate is that they seem to have gone out of their way to make things more difficult compared with Musescore 2. They seem to have randomly changed things that didn't need changing just to make it frustrating for the use. It used to be easy to change the volume of a single note or chord in a score. But now, once I finally figure out how to do it, Musescore manages to hide it from me so then I have to start all over trying to find out how to do it again. Why!!!? It used to be easy to see the note in inspector and then modify the volume, but now, where the blazing biscuits is it?? And why is it impossible to find in the manual? Ultimately, there is no advantage to Musescore 3 other than the spacing thing. So, I should do everything in Musescore 2 and then when it is ready to be put online, open it with Musescore 3. Just be sure to give it a different name because once you open it in Musescore 3, they won't let you go back to Musescore 2. Oh, no. Why would they make it **&&**& easy?!!!!! And I paid good money for this kind of frustration????????!
Write a song about a lonely tarantula that lives in a banana bunch.
The grand price is a vierual bunch of ripe bananas. Now, for a limited time, as a added amazing bonus, a free virtual tarantula. No, I'm lying. Must be the toxin from the tarantula bite that's affecting me. Dizzy dizzy it's all going dark.
Please check out my new score. It was just a bit of silliness that I wrote. I hope you enjoy! https://musescore.com/user/30771082/scores/5691515
Nice to find this group!
I made two contributions. One is a transcription of a XIV Century piece, the other is a composition by myself imitating the old styles, with many licenses.
Hope there will be many more contributions to this group!
Composers, please try to compose midnight sun, it has an alto sax solo that literally made me cry, if someone made it, I would be so down to record it on my alto sax and send it to you, thanks!
I am having trouble thinking of song ideas to compose, I am trying to create a remix kind of like the kinds I play in marching band, Ideas would be really helpful!!!!

I have most of my experience writing for strings and brass but I tried to break out of my comfort zone this time by writing for a saxophone ensemble (per request for a school festival). This quartet is what I came up with. Any criticism about what I could do to make this fitting the style of a sax quartet would be greatly appreciated.
create lyrics then say the notes and I well make 2 a score.
Hello, This is a request for creators out here. I was wondering if someone could arrange the song: Ascension by Bruce Faulconer. I have no time to do it because I have to much going on with school. Thanks!
Hello all. Try as I might, I can't find a transcription for Leo P's solo of "get busy". Might anyone have an idea where to find it?
Thank you for any input!
What is your favourite:

2. simple meal/dish (4 or less ingredients, minimal cooking)
3. complex meal/dish (not a simple dish)

Sweet & sour pork (it's chinese)
I've just published this score
anyone know the history of the alto sax
Hello everyone, this is my first ever original song, written for my brass/guitar hybrid band, there isn't a drum part because i leave that for the drummer to experiment with. I would love feedback and criticisms!
So my parents finally bought me an alto last March (I had 3 years under my belt then) and it's a student yamaha. I thought it sounded fine, and I played fairly decent with it. Marching band passed, and no problems. I got a new mouthpiece (Selmer c star) before auditioning for an all east TN honor band a few months ago in December (I made it), and I thought I sounded good still. My teacher said my sound was fine. Recently, for the past month or two, I've been noticing a subtle "buzzy" sound when I play, and at first I thought it was the reed. I changed reeds and found out that was not the case. I showed my band director, and he said it shouldn't be a problem. I showed my teacher, too, but he said he couldn't hear it. I even gave my friend a chance to play my sax, and we both could hear it. Fast track to a few days ago; I got my sax out to start practicing, and immediately I was hit with the very noticeable buzzy sound... but much worse than before. Almost every note has the buzzy sound in it; especially middle g through middle d. I'm going to meet my teacher about it in a few days. But, would anyone know any reason for this just suddenly happening? I feel like it could be my mouthpiece, since it has tiny scratches here and there, or my alto itself, or both. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hy guys, I play Alto Sax and I'm 14. I play it since I was 10 but I don't feel any improve in technique since 1 year ago. I was wondering how I improve. Thanks for who answers me!
