Kind of a weird request

So, some of you know that my brother is serving a mission. I email him every night telling him about how the day went. And every time, I’ll leave him a little “Thought of the Day” with some humorous/pointless random thought such as “What if chairs screamed in agony when only YOU sat on them?”.

Anyways, every Monday, the Thought of the Day is what I call “PUNDAY MONDAY”. I always leave him with an absolute stupid pun.
But, as weeks go on, I’m running out of ideas.

SO! I need your help. Just leave me any puns. No other jokes. Just need some puns that I can use for every Monday. :P

Also if some of you wonder why I haven’t checked the pun discussions in this group, it’s because I already have used all those puns pretty much. :P

Copyright infringement concern

There has been some concern about copyright infringement here lately and I thought of my song cycle which I recently embellished with photos of the poet (Emily Dickinson) that were taken in the 1860s. One such - https://musescore.com/user/29586932/scores/5611797
I now fear the possibility that someone "owns" these. Could this be possible?
If so, that is a problem. I recently tried to get permission from  publisher to use words from an early 20th century poet and I never received a reply in 5 weeks. I would not even know how to find out who would have rights to these old photos, let alone expect a reply.
Do you have any knowledge of this?

Importantly, I would like to know if there is a problem, will I be forewarned or is my music just yanked out like an old molar?

idea

hey, so something like this was done in the past, but would anyone be interested in a group that gives you a prompt every day and you have to write a song for that prompt? it was done in november and called "notevember" but we could do something like that during the summer, since more people are active. does this sound good to anyone?

I need music for a home play we're doing

So me and my friends were bored and decided to make a play about the Boxcar Children. It's supposed to be a musical, except we only have two songs and a poorly written overture (which is my fault)

If you could be so kind as to whip up a couple of songs (it doesn't matter whether it's instrumental or has lyrics, as long as it goes with the story, we'd appreciate it) We are just performing this for fun, so only our parents will see it, and we're just two families, so...yeah. You'll still receive all credit for the song.

Here's the summary if you haven't read it yet:

(Also, I can't call this off, or my sister will get a little mad and my friends will be disappointed after all they've done :P)

Thanks!

dumb mistakes

This isn't the dumbest of my mistakes, but the one that will take the least amount of time to tell---I thought I left my hydro flask, which are really expensive at my schools field. Very worried I rushed to my mom asking for a ride to my school. Almost half way there I looked down at the car floor to see my hydro flask. Just laying there. In plain sight. Woops.

Make something about spam descriptions!

Make something with this kind of pages:
https://musescore.com/user/12225816/scores/3625056
https://musescore.com/user/9026621/scores/5050422
https://musescore.com/user/9026621/scores/5158581

They are clearly spam description with the aim of showing those post on almost all searches people make. And when 2-3 of this posts turn out in search results they also make the website load slow, it takes like 5-6 seconds until the page is fully loaded.

Please edit them, or put a limit to the number of characters people can use in descriptions.

Almost reached 50 follower milestone

If you don't know already, I am now almost at 50 followers. Currently I have 39 followers so just 11 more and I will have reached the 50 follower mark. I had maybe like 4 followers 2 years ago. So clearly, I'm doing something right. My most recent score called The Storm just brought me 2 more followers. I suppose they followed me hoping to someday see the entire suite that I plan on The Storm being a part of. That suite I call Weather Music. Maybe I should compose another part of the suite for that 50 followers mark, upload it when I reach 50 followers, and then whenever I have finished the suite, upload it in its entirety.

If you want to listen to what I have so far of The Storm, here it is:

It just so happens that I have been getting rain for 3 days straight here in Ohio.

Safety Checklist to Follow Before Buying a Second Hand Car

Safety Checklist to Follow Before Buying a Second Hand Car
When you shop for a used vehicle, it is essential that you conduct proper research. It is more convenient to research today that ever, due to the availability of online resources such as consumer forums and car reviews. It is important to make safe decisions when you are buying a car, so as to be assured of your safety for the years to come. When you have got a second hand vehicle that you want, you need to follow this safety checklist to ensure that you get a safe second hand car.
Know what the NHTA and IIHS has to say
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) oversee the safety of automobiles in the nation. Both organizations publish reports and reviews. They carry out various kinds of crash tests, and make use of varied criteria for rating cars. Look for a vehicle having the approval of IIHS and NHTA.
Inspect whether there have been open recalls
Neither private sellers nor car dealers have a legal obligation to inform you whether or not a vehicle is subject to recall. In such cases, you have to be mindful as a buyer. You can check the website of NHTSA to know about this. It is definitely important to get a PPSR Report to get some preliminary information.
Get guidance from Kelley and Edmunds
Both guides can offer you a wide variety of information about used vehicles, whether it comes to safety ratings or reviews or the actual values of cars. It can let you avail the most appropriate car for your needs, whether in terms of your budget or safety.
Know about the standard safety equipment
The safety equipments in older vehicles are not the same as in case of newer cars. Conduct research on when some features became standard, such as electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes and airbags. Some safety features would keep you safe on the road, as well as reduce your vehicle insurance costs.
Look at foreign and older cars closely
Given that safety standards have evolved over time, you have to look carefully at older vehicles and any car that is made outside North America. They might not satisfy specific EPA standards or might lack security features that are presently needed by law.
Check the tires
Before you purchase a used vehicle, it is important that you always inspect the tires. Although the tires need to be in proper condition for driving, that is not the case always. Other than checking whether there is standard wear, check whether any of the tire edges has tread wear. If that is the case, it might indicate that the wheels are not properly aligned. In case there is erratic wear in the tires, check the suspension or shock absorbers of the car.
Trust your gut feeling
Your instincts can be your best guide. Once you have reviewed all other things on the checklist, carry out a “gut check.” In case you feel that something is not right with the second hand vehicle of your choice, it is better that you walk away.
