Once you had signed in on your account in Musescore 2 you could easily upload your scores to the website without re-entering username and password. In Musescore 3 this feature disappeared. I would really like it back. Could that be done? Adrie
This is a super fun game I just remembered cause I read a comment about Mollymawk and remembers that in her Tag Readers United group, we used to play this game!
Basically, I start by saying a word (like donut) and you think of a word that relates to that in some way (dessert). If you need an example you can find one right here (https://musescore.com/groups/hashtag-we-read-tags/discuss/766056?page=51&per-page=50) I wasn't active in that group until later but I enjoyed reading the stuff they would write on there lol
didn't think i'd have to add this since it's a given but you have to wait for someone to respond until you can post another word
Hey, no advertisement intended.
I created a musescore dark theme, that is available at userstyles.org. To aply it you have to get the addon stylish or stylus.
I just wanted to inform you people, that there are ways, to use musescore in a more eyepleasing way at nocturnal hours. (not talking about taste here;) )
Other styles are available too. Also there are diffrent addons to globaly change your browser. Just browse the addon /plugin pages of your webbrowser.
Thought I mention this, because a while ago, I asked myself here if something like that is possible to the developers, while some other people also where interested.

I am a huge fan of percy jackson (the books) and i was wondering if anyone else was too.
Can you sing?
No: Either your DNA is junk or you have a bad upbringing.
Yes: Let's do it!
I have been finding long dotted passages rather tedious to enter, as one need to change the note duration for each note - so I looked for a trick to ease the task.
1) For (eg) dotted quaver semi-quaver, enter the entire passage as straight quavers from MIDI keyboard. Do not deal with enharmonic changes or cautionaries at this stage.
2) Go back to the first note and dot it using the full stop on the keyboard. Then the entire passage can be dotted from the keyboard by repeating the pattern (right arrow) (right arrow) (full stop) as necessary. At the same time one can proof listen/read and correct enharmonics and precautionary accidentals.
This latter stage goes faster if you define keyboard shortcuts for sharp natural and flat (I use cmd alt s/n/f) as this allows you to leave your hands on the keyboard all the time.
Im pretty sure weve done this game in the past but i really dont want to look thru discussions tryin to find it.
You start with a word, say, tune. Change one letter to tone. Ect.

MuseScore 2 users end up at https://musescore.com/import following the Import PDF option in their software. Nothing on that page indicates that they won't be able to open the resulting file, as that is now in the MS3 format.
Please add a clear statement showing which musescore version is used on the backend to generate this file.

This is a group to discuss logistics and to plan out or podcast episodes.
If you're here, congrats! You could be on an episode of our show!
Feel free to talk and suggest ideas, but for now we have a lot of side work to do before we get up and running. Let's get going.
I’m Jessica! I’m so happy to be here. Hope to meet some awesome people that love music like I do. :)
If you wanna tell me who you are or whatever, please do! I reply to everyone. <3
I'm gonna (try) post a daily challenge and post the answer after about a day.
1. No calculators (for this one)
2. No internet.
Ok, here we go...
1. Puzzle scholar David Singmaster noticed the following pattern while invigilating an exam. He didn't get the T key jammed on his laptop.
What's the next letter?
