Oh, I said it in the title. Anyone?
hey, what's going on? except for Mozart Forever (yay!), no one wants to post to this group? did the bananas all turn brown?
anyone have ideas on how to improve the group?
Some folks have wanted to know, "who is chinadoll?" These one or two folks are musescore members with an abundance of free time and curiosity about trivial issues that have nothing to do with music composition. That said (written), let us (me, this is confusing) be clear, they are very nice people and chinadoll is deeply touched (in the head, most likely) by their interest. So here goes.
Chinadoll has beautiful glossy golden brown hair, large soft eyes, a very quiet shy disposition along with an exceptionally sweet and gentle nature. Chinadoll loves loves fresh fruit (especially bananas) and vegetables. Yes, chinadoll is a Syrian Hamster with a bit of a talent for composing music. Late at night when everyone is asleep, chinadoll will tap out the notes on the home computer using her little paws. She loves attention and lots of gentle petting (especially if you give her a treat).
In addition to MDL, I think many could agree that MuseScore also needs MFE (MuseScore Front Ensemble), to work in conjuction with MFE as a soundfont. I understand it is hard to get nice sounds on an open-source software, but it would be nice to have. Here are suggestions for the soundfont in mind:
- Marimba (with 3 hardnesses); the marimba sounds a little bit like a toy xylophone with a deeper voice. It doesn't sound very rich.
- Vibraphone (with 3 hardnesses); the vibes don't exactly sound metallic enough
- Xylophone (with 2/3 hardnesses)
- Glockenspiel (with 2 hardnesses)
- Chimes/Tubular bells (with 2 hardnesses); the chime sound isn't round enough and is a bit abrasive in timbre
- Gong (PLEASE)
- Suspended/China cymbals with pre-recorded rolls and hits on different sizes (similar to what VDL does)
And as well, a nice function that could be EXTREMELY useful is the ability to upload samples into a score by mp3 or wav.
What options are there for me to write in sticking I know musescore recently had an update about sticking but don't know where to find it and how to use it
Here's the form:
The symphonies will be ranked on how many people vote for each one. No voting twice. Also say, '(composer's last name), Symphony No. x' with correct capitalizations so that it is easy to collect the results.
Can you help me to convert this sheet to normal Musecore sheet ? i can not Read .
Hello Everyone! I'm new to this group, but I was hoping for some help. I absolutely love the song Waltz by Michael Dulin, and I was wondering if anyone has sheet music for that? If not, could someone make sheet music for it? I would try to do it by ear, but it is just a little too complicated for me. I'm still a little bit of a beginner to doing songs by ear.
Here is my Op. 13 set of preludes. It consists of 24 preludes, one for each key. The first 12 cover all major keys, the next 12 cover all minor keys. The sequence is the circle of fifths. Check it out

What are some techniques to playing LOUDER, I always seem to play too quiet. I'm in middle school band, and I want to impact the band more. I need to stand out while I'm playing rather than just conducting- be a good influence for my band (I'm the drum major and I suck XD)
Hope your day is going great!
I wrote a new set of pieces for xylophone , please check it out:
Hope you enjoy , and remember
~feedback is MORE than welcome~
