My first attempt on piano etude. It is a short etude, describing the feeling of standing inside gentle wind in spring. This etude focuses on arpeggios and voices management within staffs.
Please enjoy and leave me some feedback!
Here are 6 of my original preludes back-to-back. I really like them in this order, everything moves nicely.
All visual art is also original content created at about the same time I wrote the music.
The sheets can be found on my profile if you desire.
Let me know what's on your mind!
This is the latest assignment I've had to for my music comp. class. I'm really not sure how to describe it, but I do know that I'm required to use 8 of the chords in György Ligeti's Études for Piano Book 1, No. 5 and only those chords. This is what I got. Feedback is welcome
Could you give me some feedback on this first movement?
I am currently composing a piece for my IGCSE music exam- it is a waltz. I have done my A section, but I am kind of stuck when it comes to ideas for B... I've changed key... Any help?
I'm a beginner composer, and I just finished composing this piece for cello and piano. I feel like that I may need to cut back on a lot of the notes. If you could, can you please have a listen and give me your feedback?
That, and if there's a more appropriate title...
Thank you very much!
It is called 'Rain in December'.
I uploaded it on this group but I will also add the link. It is called "July".
Any feedback will be appreciated. Enjoy!
It's me again, after finishing my first piano sonata, I'm composing music in other genres. This time I composed a Waltz in C minor, please leave some comments!
Thanks very much.
Just listen. Collaboration/critique/advice/thoughts/appreciation always welcome!
Hey, I made song yesterday and just about finished it today, haven't really got anyone to share on a 'professional' level.
Would appreciate it if you guys got any criticism :)
Wondering if I can get some review on my new sonata, see what people think. Thank you.
I updated a song I posted a while ago, and I'd love any feedback I can get! Thanks :) https://musescore.com/user/13020131/scores/5213930
Hey piano composers. I just wanted to kinda introduce myself into the group instead of just dropping music in here carelessly. I've mostly been composing ensemble music, but lately I've been working on piano music for my composition class in college. I joined to share some of it and perhaps connect with other original composers. I added one of my songs in the group called "Irregularities". Check it out!
I dedicate this to the late Roy Hargrove, who left us suddenly last Friday, 2018 Nov 2.
I never had music lessons, much less music theory, but I always took the time to write. And that month I started to do piano lessons and I thought: Why not do a study on "decreasing" and "Decreasing"? Well, I did ... and that's the result:
A little and cheap - but happy - ragtime I composed for a girl I met in a summer camp this year.
I really like where it's going and I hear so much more but my knowledge of notation is seriously causing me problems on this time signature. If anyone has any suggestions or wants to add to it, feel free.
