Finding Time to Do Everything

 Hey, I am currently super busy!! Before I start, I'll lay out what my week tends to be:
Monday: Double/triple up on schoolwork. Once a month is nursing home music night (which I can't miss, considering I'm the pianist)
Tuesday: Currently I'm going to my aunt's. Soon will be Piano & Choir (if I go, which I am leaning more towards not going)
Wednesday: Work in the morning, Omnibus in the afternoon, Skating at 3pm, and will be home only for supper
Thursday: I go to my aunt's all day.
Friday: School (double/triple up as needed), Youth in evening.
Saturday: House cleaning
Sunday: Depending on which Sunday is: play piano for both services, nursing home services (I can't miss, I'm the pianist), go to my grandparents for lunch, have company over.

My problem I'm almost too busy for myself to do school.
How do you guys live with being super busy and having heavy schoolwork to do!?!?!?!?
I need advice!!!!!!!!!!

Please message me or comment what tends to work for you.
P.S. with the nursing home service/music night, that are highlights of my month!!!!!! and I can't quit now, consider i leave without them having any accompainment, 'cept a clarinet. 

[New Feature] The new form makes it possible to upload Public domain works.

As many of you know, we’ve been recently forced to revise our policy and restrict printing and downloading for basic accounts. Today we’d like to present a new update aimed at making it possible to download Public Domain scores.

What’s Public Domain?
Public Domain is the status of the work whose copyrights have expired and which is now available for download royalty free.
In the basic sense, all works published before 1923 are in the Public Domain, but in fact the status of particular works vary according to the country. Here is the link to the wiki page to learn more about Public Domain.
Music has existed for thousands of years and humanity has created tens of thousands of masterpieces We, like many of our users, would like these works to be distributed as freely as possible.

New Uploading form
We’ve changed the uploading and editing form of scores. Apart from standard fields to fill out, there’s now a new section called “Type of Composition”. In this section, users can mention what work exactly their scores are related to. The options are public domain, original composition or non-public domain.



In case you choose Public Domain, you’ll need to enter the name of the work your score is related to. After it’s been automatically checked, your scores will be available for unrestricted download.

Removing limits to download Public Domain scores
In the nearest future downloading and printing of Public Domain scores won’t be affected by the limits set for basic accounts. We believe it’s not right that users who create quality content have to pay to upload it. This is the first step towards resolving the issue.

Our further plans
- One of our next top priorities is to let original composers manage the downloading feature.
- We will mark up the existing sheet music library according to the Public Domain / Non Public Domain scores. We might need our Community help in this matter.

To sum up
This is a completely new functionality for Musescore, as we’re applying the system to check PD/nonPD compositions for the first time. We can’t exclude the possibility of you finding bugs in the way new algorithms work. Please, don’t hesitate to let us know about any possible issues.
Last but not least, I’d like to point out how grateful we are to our Community for all the support and understanding in this situation. We believe that actions speak louder than words and we’ll prove how important it is to us. We’ll continue to work on spreading and sharing music, and of course, taking good care of composers’, arrangers’ and copyright holders’ rights.

 Dear Muserscore,
I am very upset with my following message but I must at least try and ask. I have registered for your free trial, as I was curious to see whether your website would be useful for me. However, I travelled abroad for a long-time period and as I returned back last night, I checked my bank account. I completely forgot about the expiration date of my free trial, which I am fully aware was completely my mistake, because your website even reminded me of it via email. However, I cannot afford to pay a full 12-month plan. Would it be possible for me to only pay for the month which I started just now and somehow get at least some of the money back? 
I am fully aware that according to your terms of service, I shall not receive any refund, however, I am not in a situation where I can afford such a payment. The amount I paid has a great value in the Czech Republic. Please, if there is any slightest possibility for me, can you please help me? 
To keep the record, I started my free trial on 15th July 2019 and my receipt came on 14th August.

Recommendation System?

People follow other people, fav others' works, so it is very easy (???) to dig up some correlation and recommend songs they ha ven't listened to but liked by people of similar taste.

For now it's quite hard for me to discover good original works of my favorite styles from new composers I haven't followed. It's all random depending on who is posting/spamming on my Dashboard at the time I check it.

who is chinadoll?

Some folks have wanted to know, "who is chinadoll?" These one or two folks are musescore members with an abundance of free time and curiosity about trivial issues that have nothing to do with music composition. That said (written), let us (me, this is confusing) be clear, they are very nice people and chinadoll is deeply touched (in the head, most likely) by their interest. So here goes.
  
Chinadoll has beautiful glossy golden brown hair, large soft eyes, a very quiet shy disposition along with an exceptionally sweet and gentle nature. Chinadoll loves loves fresh fruit (especially bananas) and vegetables. Yes, chinadoll is a Syrian Hamster with a bit of a talent for composing music. Late at night when everyone is asleep, chinadoll will tap out the notes on the home computer using her little paws. She loves attention and lots of gentle petting (especially if you give her a treat).

Ocean sounds

Hi I'm very new at this,I get melodies in my head but am struggling to write them down.  I want an ocean feel and am not really sure how to evoke it, as I want melodies to fit 3 poems I've written about the apostles, Peter, Andrew and John.  I can hear the feeling I want to create I just can't work out how to get it on paper as it were

Polonaise in Bb, Feedback Wanted

I have been composing a polonaise in Bb for the past few days. The A section of the polonaise is what I have written down. The A section of the A section is what my first few questions are about and is the exclusively diatonic section. The B section of the A section is more chromatic. I am asking these questions because they came up to me after listening to my own polonaise a few times.

1) Is the bass in the A section of the A section(bars 1-8 and 23-30) too dense?

2) In the consequent phrase(bars 5-8), is the bass too close to the melody? Should I bring it down an octave?

3) In the B section of the A section(bars 9-22), am I handling my chromaticism correctly or not?
 
4) Is it too much of me to expect a pianist to play a polonaise rhythm in octaves for the whole B section of the A section?

5) Do I smoothly transition into the inversion(left hand becomes right hand kind of inversion) or not?
 
6) Is my A section too repetitive with 2 periods and a motive sandwiched between the 2 periods and the repeat sign?

7) Is 30 bars enough for the A section of a piece that I expect to be 200 or so bars long, or should I extend my A section further?
