Nocturne in Eb arrangement, feedback

This is the first time that I have arranged a Chopin piece. Not only that, but it is the first Chopin piece I ever played, so I am very familiar with this piece. I know, I need a countermelody or something along those lines for the first violin. But there is a bit of a problem stopping me from doing this. That is just how close the second violin  gets in pitch to the flute.

Typically, there is less than an octave of space between the second violin and the flute in any given beat. That doesn't allow for many countermelody notes if I want to keep things relatively consonant. And of course I want to keep things relatively  consonant because of the beautiful melody in the flute. I also don't want to have the countermelody have so many short notes that it becomes the main melody. The flute is playing the main melody and I don't want  to underwhelm that(I already get close to that with some of the forte dynamics).

There are no slurs in what I have written, mainly because the phrasing of the bass line is super clear just from the notation and, I have no idea where a flutist would take a breath. I can only barely get the first and second octaves to sound right, still doing that C major octave scale exercise and the staccato exercise on my flute. And this is after more than a month of flute practice, so while I technically can play  melodies on the flute at this point, I am limited to legato melodies with short phrasing that aren't super elaborate.

What do you think of my arrangement of Chopin's Nocturne in Eb?

What is your favourite violin concerto?

Happy new year everyone!

Did you know, on this day, the German composer Johannes Brahms premiered his Violin Concerto in D major with Hungarian violinist, Joseph Joachim in 1897? This concerto which has been claimed by Polish violinist, Henryk Wieniawski as an "unplayable" work while Spanish violinist, Pablo Sarasate refused to play the work. Now it is one of the greatest violin concertos ever written and it is very famous today.

Here is a link to my favourite recording of this concerto played by Itzhak Perlman:

Struggling

So I want to learn how to play the song Into The Unknown from Frozen 2, and I found most of the notes and I'm trying my best to compose my own version of it, because I can't find a flute solo for it anywhere. There's a part where it goes "ah ah ah ah" in a really high pitched note, but I can't find or figure out what notes they are! So if you know what notes they are or you know a place where I can get the song in a flute solo version, please let me know.

What do you hope never changes?

Is there anything in life, that you hope it just stays the same?

I hope that the way we celebrate celebrations never changes. I mean I do not want to celebrate Christmas in twenty years with hologram trees, Amazon packed presents and eat roast chicken made by automation. I can also imagine in the future that we will not have that much gatherings anymore as everyone will just video call each other in their living rooms. And there will be kids receiving presents in the form of Fortnite battle passes. For me, it would be bizarre to think of such idea.
