So I had this idea for a show called "A Part". The show is about being apart, separated, from something but still being a part of that. In its essence, the show is about stars and how they are so lonely as individuals in the universe but they are a part of the universe, something much greater than themselves. This show theme is giving me really Blue Knights vibes and I just wanted your thoughts on if this could make a show. If anybody is interested I started writing some pit and soloist stuff that fits the theme really well, and if you want to take a shot at this theme I could send those over to you! I actually think this show idea has a lot of potential to be a fantastic show from a design standpoint, but the issue I'm having is that as a percussionist (with most experience on rudimental and battery percussion, much less with mallets) I can only write drumline music really well.

Hello Fellow Brass Musicians,

I have been playing trumpet for a while now. My range goes all the way to double C and a Double B flat(Meaning a good tone on B Flat). As my range goes up, I noticed that my resistance is not as good (I loose my chops faster, and can only practice my music for an hour before I have to stop) I have tried loosening up and using more air to hit high notes but it still doesn't work. If any of you could help, I would appreciate it so much!

I've uploaded a couple things now with Musescore Drumline and everyone of them has no audio on the Musescore website or when I tried uploading it on YouTube. Does anyone know why this is?

I was wondering if there was any intermediate saxophone and piano duets that are Jazz that anyone on here has played and would like to tell me about? 

Wondering which mouthpiece/reed combination are you, guys using? For which style of music and with what kind of sax?
