Can you think of any 32 bar/16 bar phrase for trumpet that would sound great in a band?
where to put all the hard violin pieces
I am currently a battery and front ensemble writer, with an emphasis on battery, who is searching for someone who may be in need of one. I'm looking into collaborating with a front ensemble/wind writer to create indoor or marching shows respectively. This can be done for the sole purpose of improving writing/arranging skills or for serious projects, of which is completely welcomed.
I also have access to Sibelius, if there are any users who would like to use an alternative notating software.
If interested, feel free to contact me :-)
Dear fellow musicians,
I have been trying to improve the chord techniques on the violin, and although this piece is not a novel idea or anything, I believe I have created something progressive. But I need feedback. What do you think about this piece? Do you find it executable? Does the music "flow?"
I would appreciate any kind of feedback: https://musescore.com/user/10904501/scores/5575610
Did any of y'all create horrible pieces of music the first time you joined Musescore?
This is fraud company which mislead users by joining on free trial and if they forget enrolled them in 1 year plan non refundable with no option of cancellation .

Basically naming classical composers in alphabetical order.
I just wanted to share that a (not great) engraving I made of Vivaldi's cello concerto RV 407 years ago (when I had been doing music for only three years) is being used in this professional performance, as I managed to deduce after peering at the first violin part on the concert master's desk:
This is pretty cool, because I made that score and made it freely available on IMSLP so that it might be played more often. It used to be on musescore.com too, long ago, but if I upload it now then the playback and layout are all different. Anyway, here is the IMSLP link:
I would really like that you check my piece out! https://musescore.com/joelito1980/scores/5621693
Interested to know because I just play the piano.
Hi, my music school just emailed me telling they've made a local Summer Competition which deadline is the 1st of September, basically this competition consist of composing a piece which is 1 to 2min long (it doesn't matter which category eg. Piano solos, Orchestra, etc...), and the winner will win 100 Euro to spend in Music books and a free year of studies. So i've made this little piano concerto with strings that is about 1:20min long.Could you tell me in comments what to change/improve and tell me if you liked? That would be really really appreciated! :-)
what type of string instrument do you guys play?
I really like heavy metal, but the problem is that theres little to no sheet music for Violin of some heavy metal songs. I especially like Iron Man by Black Sabbath, and in honor of the events that happened in Endgame, I myself made Violin solo sheet music for Iron Man, heres a link:
Please leave a like if you enjoy it :D. If you have any suggestions asto what i should try to do next, please leave a reply :)

I'm currently in the middle of writing a movement for an indoor drumline program, and I have a few voiceovers that need to go into a few certain measures. Does anybody know how to achieve this?
Mine is my rondo for a sonata collab
Hello! I am trying to add muted cymbal crashes to my marching cymbal part but there is no sound in MDL for this. Would I be able to add it myself or is this simply not possible? Sorry, I'm not very savvy with this program.
Edit: I've been trying to edit the .sfz, and it's quite difficult. Is there an easy way to do this with Polyphone or is there an easier program to use?
I'm searching for the Marimba Concerto n.1 by Ney Rosauro for Solo Marimba and Piano reduction. The original composition is for Solo Marimba and String group, but I want the piano reduction one. Can someone help me finding (in PDF or Musescore filetype) this brilliant concerto? Thanks
