Bye!

After careful consideration, I have decided that I am going to leave Musescore. If you saw the post on RSA I made a few weeks ago, you would know that I have a lot of stuff going on in my life at the moment. I feel like Musescore is just not the place for me at the current time.. I will come on Musescore and check what is happening every few months, but I will not be active anymore.  I might be more active once I get my life sorted out (maybe mid-summer).

Thank you all for the great almost-year I had here!

P.S: If I see any of you on the same game as me, I'll try to set up a online room.

Welcome to this group

Hi! I’m SSS5 the new owner of the group. Here is a group where you can add your orchestral pieces, adveretise and ask for criticism, and ask questions or have friendly discussions.

General Rules:

Keep discussion civil and avoid vulgarity as much as possible
Don’t spam discussions or make too many discussions asking to check out your scores
Provide honest, but kind criticism.
Don’t add non-orchestral scores. Ensembles you can add are of course, Full Orchestral, an other older variations of orchestral ensembles.

That’s it for now and have a nice day.

Welcome to The Composers!

Hey you Composers out there!
(Looks like I can pin discussions now! Hehehe >:) )
Welcome to this group, and thanks for joining! Compose, arrange, share tips and experience, and participate in contests. Share your music and get it heard! Discuss whatever you please!
Thank you for joining this group!
First of all, let's go over some general rules.
1. No spamming. It's really annoying.
2. Don't be mean. Also, minimal swearing please.
3. Anyone can make contests!
4. Discuss whatever you want, but don't go to far please.
5. (The most important rule) Have fun!

What is the weirdest thing you have ever got in trouble for?

Mine was at  school.
In the middle of my 3rd period (math), the boy in front of me asked the teacher if she was there yesterday (she had been gone with the flu for a few days). All I said was: "you weren't here yesterday? I didn't notice." I got a 2 day detention; my first one ever. He was also the same boy who would make fun of me about the way I look.

New Piano Roll Feature on the musescore.com

Today marks the release of MuseScore Piano Roll. Piano Roll is a popular and convenient method to display piano notation in a way that not only simplifies learning a new piece for novice musicians who lack a teacher, it also beautifully visualizes each score.

(Video captured from https://musescore.com/classicman/scores/33715 )

Give it a try by simply clicking on the Piano Roll icon now available on all solo piano scores. Be sure to tell us what you think in Improving MuseScore.com!

All of these improvements are designed to not only make MuseScore.com the most valuable resource online for sharing and discovering great musical works but for learning them as well.

We hope you’ll be as excited about this new feature as we were to create it for you, and as always we look forward to your feedback.

This is just the first of an exciting series of updates and releases for MuseScore PianoRoll; we're already hard at work on improving the experience!

Save scores in Songbook

I thought it was a problem only with musescore 3 files in the app, but there was more:
1-I can't open any musescore file from another location (the app opens, the process is initiated but score doesn't appear) and
2-In Songbook I have + UPLOAD MSCZ FILE, I click it, I can select the location and the mscz file, but the score doesn't appear and is not saved in Songbook
The only way I can save a score in Songbook is to save it to My Scores in Musescore, open My Scores in the App and finally choose the option Save to Songbook.
Not an easy way to reach my goal...
Can you tell me something about?
Best wishes
