New Score Navigation Bar Obscures Score On Mobile Devices

The new score navigation bar on the bottom of the score--it has a pip for each page and arrows on both ends, and it is just above the play/audio source/etc. bar--obscures the bottom of the score on mobile devices (at least Chrome on my Android smartphone), to the point where I cannot read the bottom staff and often part of the top staff of the bottom line of a grand staff score. I am unable to eliminate or move this new score navigation bar so I can read more of the music.

Android MuseScore app fails to open MuseScore files

The MuseScore app (with the integrated Songbook functionality) fails to open MuseScore files (e.g. on the file system or as e-mail attachments). The MuseScore app is simply not suggested as an app to open a .mscz file with.

Any other users having issues with this?

The good old MuseScore Songbook app (not available anymore for new users) doesn't have any problems with that on my Android devices.

How to Delete Extra Rest?

Hello.
I have an extra rest in a measure - it actually make the measure longer than what is specified in the time signature. How do I delete it? I can select it but none of the usual removal commands work. If I use "Control-Delete" the rest of the score is deleted.
Help will be appreciate.
I'm new to the software - it looks cool so far!
Thanks.

[New Feature] Email and desktop notifications and notifications settings

A few weeks ago we launched the Notifications system on MuseScore.com. We’ve been reading your positive feedback, and we’re glad you’re appreciating the new feature!

Today we’re delivering another update to the Notifications system, in three parts:

1. Notifications settings. Now you can configure what types of notifications you want to see. You can access your notifications settings from your Settings Menu or the Notification Panel. You can choose any kind of Notification and choose where you want to receive it: on the website, email or web pushes.

2. Desktop Push Notifications. Now you can subscribe to receive Notifications via Desktop Push. It makes sure you don’t miss new notifications, even if you don’t have MuseScore.com open.

3. Email Notifications. We will send you notifications once per hour ONLY if you don’t open the Notifications panel on the website. We'll launch Email Notifications in 2 days; but for now, simply use the readily available Notifications Settings.

Enjoy the new settings! I'm looking forward to seeing how this impacts your experience with the website.
