My friend (TheNightreader) can't access musescore.com while I can? He's getting this message: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7aKdCLYJPsrVTFEaThSTnM2NGc/view?usp=sharing
Hello everyone, one question to ask, is there a way to make a part play on D.S only? Ive read that in some actual music where it said "Play on D.S Only" and i was wondering if musescore has that.
Just waiting. . .
Or how do I contact the Blog people?
hello! Is there any way to search for say brass quartet music that is specifically for 2 trumpets and 2 trombones?
Here is the group discussions page at 11:55 AM
The comment timer below the top discussion (Demon Hunters - Freezing Return) says that a comment was made 5 seconds before the page was loaded last.
This is the same discussion shown in the sub-sidebar on the right less than 3 minutes later.
This one says that a comment was made 16 minutes ago.
There appears to be a large discrepancy between the two timers, with the one in the sidebar being the only reliable one. Do they use separate scripts?
When songbook playing, the player do not stop playing music. This is not very convenient!
I confirmed using the Internet Archive that this did exist before. See, for example, http://web.archive.org/web/20160304134646/https://musescore.com/user/607771, and hover the mouse over any of the "Followers" or "Following." A tooltip comes up with the username associated with that image. Try the same thing with https://musescore.com/user/607771 as of March 1, 2017, and there's nothing.
Some same score for different singer need this function.
Only change the key still not enough for some singer.
Could you add change octave for Android app (songbook)?
currently we can only filter by instrument.
would be great if we can sort the free score into alphabetical order.
I don't know if it's just me, but i've been unable to add a cover picture or a profile picture. I'm on a macbook, and using both safari and chrome...
Again, idk if it's just me or not.
This probably sounds really dumb, but I can't figure out how to write triplets. Helppp
is there a way in musescore to take a part and paste it into another part's second voice?
I can't use my piano with my MIDI Cable is there an update for it
I just wanted to mention one of the features of the new interface that is an improvement, since most of the comments are complaints.
It is very nice now when adding a comment to a score that you can finish a comment and save it without interrupting the flow of the music you are commenting on. Previously, when we saved a comment, that automatically ended the music at that point, making us either a) wait until we were finished listening to post the comment, or b) re-start the music stream once the comment had been left.
At MuseScore.com I was able to specify a YouTube video as an alternate audio source for a score I uploaded, but was unable to use the sync-audio-to-score functionality and set markers for each measure. The problem, aside from the issue that MuseScore.com was unable to generate a waveform, is that the YouTube video, visible in the embedded window at the set-markers page, does not begin to play, using either the spacebar or the play button.
This problem occurs using the following most recent web browsers and computer OS's--
Firefox in Linux (Linux Mint, XFCE4 edition)
Firefox in iOS (iPad Pro)
Safari in iOS (iPad Pro)
Google Chrome in iOS (iPad Pro)
I WAS able to play the selected YouTube video and add markers to sync with the score using the Chrome browser in Linux (Linux Mint), and in that browser, the YouTube video could be selected within the score's own page as an audio source, the video played with audio, correctly synced according to the markers I set.
Playback of YouTube video as alternate audio source for score not working in following web browsers / OS--
* Firefox in Linux (YouTube video does not begin to play)
* Safari in iOS ("YouTube playback is not supported ..." in audio sources menu for score)
* Chrome in iOS ("YouTube playback is not supported ...")
* Firefox in iOS ("YouTube playback is not supported ...")
Playback of YouTube video as alternate audio source for score IS working in following web browsers / OS--
* Chrome in Linux
* Chrome in Android (tablet)
* Firefox in Android (tablet)
Just information, that's all. :-)
is there a possibility you could add a feature that give people the ability to @mention you by name, and it could show up on your dashboard? (example: "@Teliul [comment insert]" would show up on my dashboard)
If not, it's fine! It's just a suggestion.
Whenever I reply to a comment now, my profile picture becomes the size of the computer screen. It's just a little annoying having that happen every time I respond to someone. Is there any way this could be fixed?
This is something of a shock to me; I understood a major focus of the site redesign was improving the mobile experience. So what's going on here? Is it just my phone? I see a button to "Open in app," but no playback controls.
When logged in, musescore.com redirects to the dashboard, but otherwise, it's simply the website home page. Two things here are different from the rest of the site:
- There is a button to "sign" instead of "log" in.
- The page footer seems to be a relic from before the site redesign, with a different color scheme, different font sizes, and even different ordering of links (see https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/discuss/3258056).
