Thanks to all the new members for joining our banana party. There seem to be quite a few 'banana' composers here at musescore, whether ithe music is about the fruit banana or banana fish or banana fairies or whatever or if the music is just plain banana silly. Post your music, tell your friends. I even heard that some higher up in the government was thinking of joining since they have lots of experience in being completely bananas.
Hi there. This is my first discussion here but it’s a game. If you know the rules of word chain then great, but I’ll explain for the others. If I said “hello” then you would have to say something beginning with O
Rules. No swears No made up words Only one word Have fun
A friend and I are seniors in high school and we have a band. I play alto saxophone and he plays drum set. We have played at basketball games, in school concerts, and background music at various school events. Our next (and possibly last) performance is going to be at our graduation, so obviously we want it to be our best performance yet. Our problem is we cannot seem to find a good song/songs to play. We are looking for something fast, upbeat, and fun. Somewhere between 3 to 15 minutes would be perfect. Some of the songs we have played before include: Shipping Up To Boston, Megalovania, Blue (Da Ba Dee), 300 Violin Orchestra, Harder Better Faster Stronger, Eye Of The Tiger, ect. Hopefully that gives you a good idea of the type of music we enjoy playing.
Any song suggestions would be very helpful. Also, if you have any other places I could post this question please let me know. Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone gives.
Hey everyone, I am working on rewriting a piece but after opening MuseScore the next morning after working on the piece a bit, I get no sound playback at all. Could someone please help me? Thanks in advance, Lukas
I would like to write some notes for drums. The rhythmic part I have no problem, but in big band ensemble I see that it is written in musical notation according to how the arrangement is in winds or brass sections. I read the word "assembly" on top of the battery staff. The question is, how do you write this arrangement? I cannot find the topic in the Musescore manual or guide. Of course, I thank the entire community if you can send me a link to this chapter.
