so it turns out it was not obvious that you cannot enter pieces into a different contest. You cannot enter a piece into more than one contest. I hade 2 people enter pieces from RSA contests.
Happy new year everyone!
Did you know, on this day, the German composer Johannes Brahms premiered his Violin Concerto in D major with Hungarian violinist, Joseph Joachim in 1897? This concerto which has been claimed by Polish violinist, Henryk Wieniawski as an "unplayable" work while Spanish violinist, Pablo Sarasate refused to play the work. Now it is one of the greatest violin concertos ever written and it is very famous today.
Here is a link to my favourite recording of this concerto played by Itzhak Perlman:
What is your favourite violin concerto? Tell me below.

I know this group is dead. It makes me so sad, since TwoSet is still alive and well. If we want to compare to Reddit, we've got to step up our game!!! I'm new and I'm sure other new people have tried when they joined to revive the group, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to try!
So, I know that a lot of TwoSet fans don't play violin (some don't play instruments at all). I wondering how many members here actually play violin?
I'll start us off. I play piano, and have been for the last 4 years (so, relative amateur). I don't play violin and all I know about it is from TwoSet, though my brother just picked up the violin.
Don't forget your 40 hrs. of practice
Just wanna know. I have a decently bad LL4HRS and want to publish it through this group.
I uploaded a scherzo for solo violin , check it out:
It's really horrendous !
Hope you enjoy!

Halfway to the unholy number.
Every time you enter a score into the contest, you need to upload it to the sheet music section of the group itself. It will make it easier to find them to judge. Also, you need to rename them to say CMC Contest. For example
"CMC Contest #5 Sonata in C Minor". Please reply if you read this if you are confused reply as well.
I arranged another piece from Morse. Check it out, let me know what you think. Chances are, if you comment on mine, I'll take a look at yours. https://musescore.com/user/31989152/scores/5882300
here are some html commands.
[put them in brackets like this.] [/to end them add a slash to the start.]
For other colors, replace 'red' in the html command with another color, to make...
...and more! (For this command, to end it, type /color.)
You can enter youtube videos of your pieces instead of having them uploaded on musescore.
Wagner premiered the Flying Dutchman in Dresden, Germany.
Saint Saens premeired his Violin concerto No. 3 in B minor with Sarasate as solo violinist.
