i am working on a piano sonata
Mine is my rondo for a sonata collab
How do you create scores on this website
Is it possible to play the tenor trombone notes on the bass trombone I've been trying and I think I'm close
I will update this weekly
Group is created today! Woohoo! *confetti and stuff falls from sky*
Eek! I forgot to do this yesterday. The group is already dying, so uhh… :o
@Jaybird1 is one of the first truly active members, I told him I would give him a shoutout here, so here you go :P
Congrats on earning your Eagle Scout! It is a high honor! Introduce yourself here. Things like: what was your Eagle Project? What were some of your favorite merit badges? Did you receive your Order of the Arrow award? Have a great time.
I'm looking for a pop song that I can arrange for trombone duet. If you have any ideas please comment. (See my channel for what I mean by "pop")
What are some techniques to playing LOUDER, I always seem to play too quiet. I'm in middle school band, and I want to impact the band more. I need to stand out while I'm playing rather than just conducting- be a good influence for my band (I'm the drum major and I suck XD)
Does anyone know the position of the really high C in the second octave of the C scale? I can't find it anywhere. Thx!
Hi, I was wondering if someone has or could make a Puzzle Plank Galaxy trombone duet. I would like to perform it with my friend. Thanks
Because I'm European I have learned to play in treble-clef, and as a transposing instrument.
So now, in Bass-Clef, what I see as a C, must be played as what I call an F# and thought of as a Concert E...
Anybody here, who has gone through this, and can give some advice?
Hey fellow trombonists.
Many of you may not know this, but while you may play tenor or bass trombone there are tons of other types. So out of any style of trombone ever what would you put on your wish list. For me it's the Buccin, a trombone only ever used in France from 1810-1845 that has a Sousaphone like bell with a dragon's head on the end. The thing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Buccin_yeo_01.jpg) is one of the coolest looking instruments I've ever seen!
So what do you guys think?
All right everyone. We’re taking part of BSBass Clarinet’s Mater Composers competition. We just simply post a composition to this group and post votes for which piece we want to win on this topic.
The rules as posted by BSBass Clarinet are:
“1- Submit your best score to your group(s) that you are a part of.
2- Submit any score that YOU have written, whether it be concert band, orchestra, quartet, triplet, ect.
3- Your score has to be at least 25 seconds long (no limit to how long it can be)
4- If you are a member of multiple groups, select only one group to submit your music to please; we don't want 1 user winning all the groups' competitions
5- Do NOT vote on your own score, unless you have 0 votes (as of the last day to vote)
6- Please post only scores with playable parts (ask a member that plays the instrument that has the hard or impossible part, if you can't tell)
7- Enter ONLY music that you have written (no arrangements, or anything that isn't written by yourself). If anyone tries to win this competition by posting an arrangement under their own name, they will be banned from this group forevermore.
8- Post a reply to a discussion on your instrument group telling which composition you would like to vote on by whatever date we choose.
9--ALL WORKS MUST BE ORIGINAL PIECES WRITTEN BY OR CO. WRITTEN BY THE USER WHO ENTERS IT. NO ARRANGEMENTS. IF A USER WROTE THE LYRICS, WHILE ANOTHER WROTE THE MUSIC, THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED LEGAL, ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF THIS ORGANIZATION.”
Hey guys, I'm relatively new here. I have only these two arrangements out, but I would love feedback in regards to if they're too easy/hard, and just overall if they sound alright. I'm a pretty young composer, so any sort of comments would be great for me. Thanks!
