RANT: Just a little reminder for the website owners why your site has movement.

in Piano

*has a 5 uploads limit on a platafom that should be welcoming*
>should be at least 1~5 DAILY uploads limit, and maybe 200kb per file limit for non-premiums, but whatever, sucks on the stoopid people that pay for uploading lol
( If you think about it, it only hurts the users that make other people come to the site. The people that generate traffic you know. They're LITERALLY hurting their workers. )
>What is this website even thinking they are, the P***hub Premium of sheet music sites?
*opens website on 2020 - Feb - 21
Site says "HEY, WE HAVE REMOVED THE 5 UPLOADS LIMIT! COMUNITY WELCOMING BLA BLA BLA"
>Okay, very cool! Nice going musescore!!!
*using the site for 2 more minutes trying to find a nice version of a specific music*
"Start free trial"
>Ok, no thanks.
"We have changed our cookie policy"
>All right, just gonna block this "sheet" with adblocker. F*ck this. I will NOT click the "Ok, I agree" button.
( I WISH they didn't had to make sh*tty mooves on the users using this corporate cookie scamming ads thing that STEALS MY DATA or uses it for custom ads whatever, people link websites that uses this to bad sites that scam us and I'D REALLY LIKE TO TURN OFF ADBLOCKER TO GENERATE MORE AD MONEY FOR THEM AND THE PEOPLE WHO UPLOAD HERE, but whatever, I have my rights to use adblock and enable/disable it anywhere I want since the internet companies are SEET nowadays and you DON'T want them using your personal data, NEVER. )
"You have reached the 20 daily downloads limit"
*having a mental stroke*
WHAT THE F*CK, WHY DID THEY DO THIS? GOD F***ING D***IT, EVERYONE IS AN A-HOLE NOWADAYS ON THE INTERNET! ALL WEBSITES ARE GOING TO SHEET...

Add a simple main screen pop up like this:
"Bla bla bla we use NON INTRUSE and NON SCAMMING ads to generate money to keep the site up and also help our comunity gain and grow, so please consider disabling ad-block on our website. Bla bla bla."
Options: (okay) goes to a page explaining how to disable it and (no, thanks) just disables it for a few minutes

And even then, YOU ALREADY SELL SOFTWARE.
THAT WAS A VERY SH*TTY MOVE, A MIDDLE FINGER TO THE USERS.

IS THINKING ETHICALLY AND SMARTLY REALLY *THAT* HARD???

Piano concerto

in Piano

I am not a great composer of any kind, but I thought that I could try my hands on a piano concerto and currently I have a few questions.

1. How do chords really work? When the piano has the melody, how should I construct an accompaniment following it?

2. How am I supposed to write condensed arpeggios? If I just use chords it doesn't sound right. If I use intervals I don't know which one to use. Is it a combination of both or is it simply one? (If it's a bit confusing look at Rachmaninoff's piano concerto no 2's 1st page)

3. How should I go on attempting harmonies? I have a theme and melody on the piano and strings most of the time, but how should I add pieces to it? I could just use chords in accordance with the melody which I have done. I could also another line of melody making a bit of counterpoint, but anything else?

I've been studying Tchaikovsky's 1st for my own piano concerto. There's a lot of things he wrote that I don't quite understand. So if you have any more suggestions than my questions, feel free to type it up.
