I am a cellist and have been playing for over 5 years. I am looking for some fun pieces to play. I am not as far as I want to be with my playing as I've been kept back for a while now. If anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated. Many thanks!

Hey guys! I'm new to this group and I figured I might as well put my music out there now! I am a percussionist and am most prominent in writing for mallet percussion, but I also love to write for band, choir, and musical theater! Feel free to check them all out and give me feedback.
("The Ticking Clock"; mallet percussion quartet)
("The End"; mallet percussion quintet)
("Change on the Horizon; concert band/wind ensemble)
("Speak to Me; SATB+Piano)
("Sunset"; musical theater; 2 mezzo sopranos, 2 violins, electric guitar, piano, and drumset)

This piano piece I just composed, but I would love to get some feedback from strings players as when I was composing this, I imitated a string orchestra in some parts. Another reason, is so I can get some critique from people who aren't bound by the technicalities and logistics of a keyboard like me. All comments are appreciated!
I was wondering if it is possible to get rid of unused parts in a score, specifically flub parts in MDL Battery. I never use the part so why have it laying around? Is there a way to remove it? Thank y'all in advance!
I joined this group a little while ago and forgot that I never posted a discussion, lol. I've been officially composing music for about four years now and I'm the principal percussionist of my high school. I've written a mallet quartet piece called "The Ticking Clock" which was accepted into a state composer's competition during my sophomore year; I went back later and wrote a follow up to that piece called "The End", which is a mallet quintet piece that has never been played before. Eventually, I'd like to write more of these mallet compositions and turn them into one conjoined piece or something! Let me know what you think!

Roud of applause for RKrauth!!
so it turns out it was not obvious that you cannot enter pieces into a different contest. You cannot enter a piece into more than one contest. I hade 2 people enter pieces from RSA contests.
Hey mallet percussion community of MuseScore, I recently finished draft 1 of the marimba solo I'm writing, would appreciate feedback/critique of any kind. Thank you!
In this group you turn in a record of you playing into the google form, Then I wil put your audio on our website then all of yall will be able to see how others play! Please Join
My friends sometimes ask me to translate his or her name into a musical composition. I must confess that I love these activities as it forces you to make a melodic line out of it. So my challenge is:
Make a piece of music out of a name (can be anyone's)
Pieces should be longer than one minute and less than 3 minutes.
If those who are confused in how to use cryptograms then here is one way you could do this (French method):
I would judge your pieces based on originality, how beautiful it is and bonus if difficult names are used.
Please in your titles that you need to state the name of the person
The winner will have their piece upvoted and will be followed by me.
Here is an example where the piece uses a musical cryptogram:
Your submission will be due at 15th February
Can be for any instrument/instruments
Award: follow, favorite & comment
