I think the ooohs and aaahs in my Fluid R3 soundfont are not percussive enough to approximated a tight a cappella group.
I arranged this for my highschool acapella group Close Harmony (from Fairfield Ludlowe High School), and it would be awesome to get some feedback, because we're going to start learning it soon.
Congrats on being an Eagle Scout! It is a high honor! What was your Eagle Project? What were some of your favorite merit badges? Did you receive your Order of the Arrow award? Have a great time.
Hi! Ha... I sort of just started Musescore and haven't really had a chance to explore and create things yet so give me some time. Thank you so much for your interest in joining I'm really happy that you found it to your liking and it encouraged me a lot. Thank you!
Hey everyone :)
I'm a college senior music major and I'm composing a choral piece for my senior final project! I'm going to have a group of singers performing it. It's a work in progress so I'd appreciate any comments, critiques, etc!
This is the biggest project of my college career, so I want it to be awesome. Thanks!
Merci d'avance !
Hi! I hope everyone's having a good day! :) I just wanted to share something with you guys really quickly.
So, like many of you, I arrange music for a cappella and choirs. And I also love singing some of these arrangements myself!
I just posted a video on YouTube of me singing one of my a cappella SSAA arrangements, and I would love to hear your feedback on both the arrangement and the vocals. I want to do everything I can to improve!
Here's the video: https://youtu.be/fud4SxrsliU
And here's the sheet music: https://musescore.com/lareinedeslapins/girlfriend-ssaa-a-cappella
I would appreciate it so much if you guys would take a look at this. It means a lot to me.
Thank you! Have a lovely day! :D
I joined a non-audition choir recently that only has about 8 members. I just found out that the Bass (the only male) is leaving in a few months. We have some events coming up andneed help find some SSA arrangements.
Just a little bit of background. Our S1s are S1s because they can only sing the melody and not because they can sing high. I often re-arrange music because of this. So anything where the melody is in a mezzo range is fine, I can give the high harmonies to the S2s.
Please help with recommendations! Thank you!
I am looking for a good a capella version of "Can't Close My Eyes" (Narnia end credits)
Hello all! I've never posted in here before but was wondering if there was a way to request an arrangement. I'm looking for Home Free's version of O Holy Night for my a cappella group. Can someone help direct me to where I can request that? Or if I can EVEN request that. I don't really know. I'm not too familiar with the format here. Thank you in advance.
Hello! I thought I would share this with you guys really quickly. I set the poem "The Gift to Sing" for SATB choir, and figured you might like to hear it, since the meaning of the poem and the composition is one that many of us live by - there is nothing better or stronger than the gift to sing. :)
I would also love any critiques you would be willing to offer, because there are still a few chords and things here and there that I am unsure about. I know that this piece requires a big range for each vocal part, but I think it should be manageable (at least from a soprano's perspective) - so if you have any thoughts on that or anything else as well, I would love them!
This is a really special piece to me, as it is for my old choir director, who is the one who inspired me to pursue music as a career. I would appreciate any and all comments and critiques you have, because I want this to be as good as possible when I give it to her!
Thank you so much! Happy composing and arranging, everyone! :D
I hadn't seen any arrangements of it around, so I arranged one of my favorite recent songs, Perfect, by Ed Sheeran. :) I arranged it for TTBB a cappella (a cappella is my favorite!), but I've never arranged anything for an all-male group/choir before and would appreciate any feedback or critiques you have. Thank you guys!
I was wondering if anyone could help me find some Christian arrangements for women's acapella? Preferably contemporary songs or modernized hymns.
Thanks so much!
Our group's got a Tim Foust/Avi Kaplan-level bass singer, and we're trying to find some arrangements that give him some room to really shine. He can pretty easily hit E1's and up, and with a little effort can rumble down to I think F#0 was our last measure. But we're really just looking for something that goes lower than E/D2. If anybody has something it'd be great to possibly see it!
I was curious about what type of a capella music you are interested in collecting? Are you looking for arrangements of current pop songs? Are you affiliated with an a cappela church and looking for arrangements of worship songs?
Hey, I just saw this group and realized that it was essentially what I was looking for. If anyone's interested, I made a TTBB arrangement of the Vulture Song from the Jungle Book :)
