My second composition! :)

Well, that sure was quick.... my second piece... A study for classical/acoustic guitar, the instrument that i really play! Dont be fooled by the simple structure because it is hard, especialy to make a good fingering (probably gonna take some notes out to make it more simple and playable for guitar). Inspired by me i guess...? I just went with my flow and followed a great deal of advice from my first piece. Structure wise i feel it is obvious - A in D locrian (say whhaaaa)/pentatonic minor as well (in some parts) with a modulation to Bb major and a bridge to section B in D minor with a bridge to repeat the study until the coda. Sounds like a boos theme who went to brasil for carnival to me lol.... but idk...well enjoy! :) Also, please leave feedback so i can see what you guys think i can do better (there is always something that can be better!)  Version 1.1: Re-made the section B to add more flavour and rhythm, now it feels like it's moving rather than just giving 3 close-to random notes... it has more purpose, especially with it's connection with the meter 7/16 from the bridge... the chords were also changed from the beggining of the same section, giving the basses more work to uplift more the harmony... now it should be more enjoyable... Also made it for piano so everyone can have a feel for it...now it definitely feels like a boss-fight theme lolol  Next update will be to take some notes out from some almost guitar-impossible chors (still posisble though, just requires what i imagine is more than 3 months of metronome practice...well it's a etude so i shouldn't care but i am to nice) and arrange it with fingerings for the guitar! :) Btw, if there is any guitarists (or pianists) out here, try it... i promise it won't bite!  Well Enjoy!! :) João Carvalho

Musescore erased progress on my sheet music

Hi, the other day I spent hours composing on a new piece. At some point the program crashed and closed, but fortunately it was possible to recover the piece from where I left it. Since that crash, I started to save regurarly so, if it crashed again, I didn't risk losing anything.

After 6 hours of work, I saved for the last time and closed Musescore, just to find out the next time I opened it that it actually hadn't saved anything in those 6 hours. Before you ask: no, it's not saved elsewhere, I've already searched everywhere and, on Musescore's initial page, where you can load your most recent files, there's my file with 6 hours less of progress and 2 other files that I myself haven't created with the weird names "sc 198492" and "sca98492".

Is there a way to recover my work?

0How to change the values of ALL the notes on your sheet to double time? (related to change of time signature

Hey everyone!

I tried to looking for a way to do this on musescore, and I have a feeling that what I want to do may not be possible, but anyway here goes:

I composed a 5-voice A cappella piece and notated in on Musescore in 3/4 time signature.

I later realised that the feel of the song is actually 6/8, not 3/4 and would like to change it to that. I know that I can change the time signature, that's easy, but a phrase that took 2 bars in 3/4 is actually a phrase which completes in 1 bar of 6/8.

So my question is, is there a way to convert all note values of my piece into half its value? For example, 1 half note needs to become a quarter.
(otherwise I'm going to have to just notate the whole piece again, haha)

Thank you for all of your help!
