Snooze! Go away!

in Piano

Snooze! Go away! Let me sleep! Just 5 more minutes inside this warm and dark place, I'm not ready yet!
Soon, I will be reaching 100 followers. I have prepared something special for that occasion, so stay tuned (your instruments too).
This was inspired by me not wanting to get out of bed, so I decided to turn the sound I hate the most, into something beautiful and fun! https://musescore.com/colorsofsound1/scores/5451151#comment-5153233

Pianist composes for violin?

Hi! I just started playing violin, it's very hard as a pianist, especially when the violin does not use finger 1 so I always get confused... Anyways, if there are any beginner violin players, this one you can play along to: https://musescore.com/colorsofsound1/scores/5376916
P.S. It's weird composing for violin, I'm so used to a keyboardლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ But, feel free to check out my profile. :)

Piano Songs to get back on track - 12 years of experience ( didnt play for almost 6)

in Piano

Hey Guys ,
I was playing classical music since I was 5 years old until age 17 and after 5 years I decided to go back and play .
the thing is that I never practiced at home . so as I never taught theory .

I would like to receive a recommendation for pieces in medium difficulty so I could play and feel good about it and monitor my progress.

I'm looking at Pieces like Moonlight 3rd movement and Rachmaninoff -loves sorrow - liebesleid which I know are really difficult and I dont want to start them and feel like its too big on me (but after me going back to business I pretty sure I will be able to play them)

Pieces I remember how to play :

The Entertainer
Nocturne in C sharp
Yiruma - River Flows in you

Pieces in working on right now :

pretty simple

Prelude in C
yann tiersen comptine d'un autre ete l'apres midi

I found those a little bit hard

Nocturne in E
Moonlight sonata 1st movement

Arrangement of Moonlight Sonata

I need some feedback on my arrangement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata for woodwind quartet. I have been told to be more adventurous with it and only have doublings when I need to. Thing is, Beethoven hasn't given me much to work with here. The only movement that is complete here is the Adagio movement. I am still working on the minuet movement. The hardest part to arrange would be the Presto agitato with all those fast arpeggios and alberti bass.

Here is a link to my arrangement of the Moonlight Sonata:
