Hi. I`ve composed for a couple of months. I find it very difficult to find inspiration and then turn it into music. So i wondered how other people get their inspiration. How do you make your music.
i dont really use chord progression on purpose. but now i want to learn how to set the character of my piece with the harmony
I am pretty new to composing (only started 2 years ago) and I would like critique and feedback for some of my songs:

FEEDBACK IS MUCH MORE THAN WELCOME!
I`ve written a piece called dancing on a star. This piece is not one of my favourites and its very repetetive. Can you point out reasons why this piece would be a nice piece or popular?
it is with little variations from the first version, but i like more this one
I`ve recently made a new piece and i found it hard to write down after playing it on the piano. I made it a cadenza as i like to play it a bit differently and i would like some feedback on it
