Yes, i don't know how to. I finished the first page, and i searched in every single config, but i didn't find. Please help me.
I’m Jay, a composer, arranger, transcriber, singer, pianist, etc. I also enjoy poetry and writing. I’m currently working on a putting an album together of modern classical compositions. I plan on learning as many instruments as possible. I also enjoy dancing, and I love to talk. :)
Using up-to-date MuseScore on Mac.
Making a Score using the Brass Band template. I am trying to change one parts key signature, when I click and hold the Mac 'CMD' key from the palette key-sig I want and drag it onto the part stave, the first bar (where the key shows) highlights, but doesn't change to the new key signature. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Starting March 1, we will be accepting entries for CC#3. The rules of this contest are simple: Compose an original EDM song. The following is an example of EDM on musescore: https://musescore.com/nobleewe/scores/5322068
EDM stands for Electronic Dance Music and is characterized by synthesizers, repetitious chords and melodies, and a usually a drop of some sort.
You have until the end of March to post the link to your score in this discussion. To make things easier for us, please put "CC#3" in your title and add it to this group.
See you then!
The deadline is fast approaching... in 10 days the contest will be over.
If you're not in the group yet, join and I'll let you in! If you're in the group, don't miss this great opportunity!
So a YouTuber called Tantacrul just released a video called "Music Software & Interface Design: MuseScore" talking about various flaws and possible fixes to MuseScore. Perhaps this could be a good source of possible fixes and improvements.

This seems to happen every few months. Why can't you check for this every week?
Tomorrow I intend to post a new score, but I don't know if I post a version of O Come, O Come Emmanuel (Violins, Viola, Clarinet and Piano) or Greensleeves (Piano, Harp and Violin), please let me know what you prefer!
Also, I'll need to delete a score from the website, please listen to Romaria and A Primeira Valsa in my profile and tell me which one you think is worse.
Thanks in advance, Laura!
I’m Mitch and I’m new here. I’m not able to make scores because I’m using an iPad without a keyboard, but I want to be as active on the site as possible, like giving feedback and supporting anyone else. Hopefully soon I can hook it up to my family computer.
Favourite band- Pentatonix
Instruments I play - Clarinet and a little bit of piano
Favourite YouTube channels - DanTDM (I like Minecraft ok? 😂) and Superfruit
Hobbies/stuff I do - rugby league, music, drawing, writing
Speaking of writing, I want to write a story centering around a music competition but have no idea of what it should be about. Any ideas?
Thanks for reading!
"When it comes to bass, what I play doesn’t have to be busy or fast, but it has to be melodic. The earliest example of that is J.S. Bach. He wrote fabulous bass parts which every bass player should study, because they perfectly illustrate how to be functional and melodic at the same time."
(Add Jack Casady and Phil Lesh to my pantheon of rock Bass players whose work teaches classical bass).
Is this ever going to be fixed, or is it not important enough or only happening to me? I wish there were bug tracking. I know that if I complain too much you will complain back at me instead of fixing the bug. What do I have to do to not lose score comment edits?
I'm transcribing this drum solo in 9/8, and 98 measures in the meter changes back to 4/4 for no reason.
When I open MuseScore, my collections are empty. How do I restore them?
Can I find a way to integrate museScore in my iOS App?
What I want is to render MIDI files to musical notation, Just like MuseScore app on the store. Does MuseScore have any iOS SDK that I can use or buy? or do MuseScore have any other way to render musical notations in my app using museScore?
your app-version of musescore is awesome. But there are two small features that are missing which would be such a huge user experience improvement:
1. Remembering the zoom level
Things like tempo and muting instruments are saved, but not the zoom level. It really sucks to zoom in a few times on every small practice session.
2. Prescrolling the notes
When all notes displayed are played, the next pages appears. But in that moment you don't know what to play, because you simply can't see it. You can't play a piece completely without interruptions. Just scroll a bit when you are half way trough the notes currently displayed or something like that.
If these two things get implemented, i'll be premium member for years... guaranteed! :)
Thanks for listening and keep up the great work.
I don't post often, but I recreated the music from Space Mountain! Hope you like it~
This has been going for quite a while now. At first I thought it was my internet, but I'm beginning to think it's a problem with the site. Whenever I click 'play' on a score, it loads but never starts the piece.
My grandmother recently passed away and I composed an elegy dedicated to her. I would appreciate any type of feedback I can get on this composition.
What groups here in MuseScore does violin/drums feedback? Still getting used to the website, hahaha
