I am a beginner French horn and I am currently renting one from my school. The one I am renting is very beat up and scratched and I would like to get some suggestions for French horns in the range of 1k - 3k USD.
Hello FHP, can someone tell me how they best build their stamina when playing? I find myself commonly running out of energy to play, and can't play so high for that session after having played long or high. How do I make my playing sessions last longer without me losing range so quickly?
Hi, I´m bored because I always playing the same songs, please recommend me interesting and medium level songs.
Hi, it's my first time dealing with a brass band, so i'll really appreciate any feedback (long or short) for it!
Hi, so I've been playing saxophone for about five years now, but for all this time I haven't been able to play longer than about 30 minutes when I practice. If anyone have some tips how to improve my embouchure I'll be very grateful. Thanks
Hey, I just recently wrote a brass quintet and would love some feedback on it. This is 100% original. Thanks!
I have been looking every where for about 1 month and I still can't find one. The only one I could find was a Bb Trumpet version and I have no clue if I can just transpose it into French Horn sheet music. If anyone knows if there is one and if they have a link I will be grateful if you send it to me. Thank You.

If you can't tell a bamboo flute from a Saxonette, you're just as intelligent as Google Image Search.
This is my own creation. 100% original. This is my take on a DCI show, but a high school show length. I'm not the best at writing frontline so you'll have to forgive me on that all you frontline musicians. Please let me know what you think of it! :) I'd greatly appreciate the feedback!
Hello. I'm a new member of the group & a fairly inexperienced musescore user. I've been playing the trombone for 51 years & the euphonium & baritone for 42. @ 10 of those years professionally & 25 semi-professionally, & the rest just for fun. I've played in many groups of different styles, but my favorites have been big band, brass quintet, & symphony orchestra. I've also enjoyed tuba-euphonium ensembles & trombone ensembles. Merry TubaChristmas is one of my favorite annual events. Due to pain & wear and tear, I've recently had to put down my trombone - at least for a while. But I'm enjoying playing my new euphonium. I've been arranging for big band & brass ensembles for more than 20 years.
This may be the wrong place for this question... Is there a way to transpose & print the transposition? Thanks in advance.
Hello and Welcome! I would like to see how long you people have been playing the horn. There are not many horn players in my city, so I would like to find others who play the horn(Not in person, online! :) ).
So I will start.
I'm a beginner. I started playing a month ago. I play the violin, viola, mandolin, clarinet, and horn.
I made a medley with 3 Imagine dragons songs, SO FAR, I will be updating this piece frequently adding new songs to it every week. Please check it out, fave it, and follow me so you don't miss anything, thanks!!!
On my account I have just added a brass fanfare that I also intend to add to my RCM portfolio.
Could I trouble you lot to have a look please?

Transcription to C-instruments
I own the partiture of 'Sax in the City of Alain Crepin' inclusive all parts and the altsaxophone solo for saxophone-orchester (Es and Bes instruments). I want to play the altsaxophone-solo with my accordeon-ensemble (all C-instruments). How can I transcript all the music to C-instruments (exclusive the Alt-saxophone solo)? Can someone help me?

I’ve been playing alto sax for quite awhile, and have decided to move onto tenor for jazz, are there any tips on playing tenor, or am I just better off staying on alto?
