I arranged a piece by Samuel Morse for orchestra from piano. I thought it was pretty good. feel free to take a listen! let me know how the viola part looks both in terms of playability and readability! https://musescore.com/user/31989152/scores/5869389

Hello! I am a cellist & I have been arranging pieces into duet & trio form, both for use in ensemble performances as well as for students to play with me in their lessons. I am going to upload a couple of Christmas tunes to see how they work for you. These are easily transposed into viola - cello duets & generally work very well (though you may have minor adjustments on notes that go below the normal instrument range).
Carol of the Bells
Il Est Ne - cello duet
Wassail Songs ( Here We Come a-Wassailing / Wassail, Wassail)
White Christmas
I've got a new concept I've finished drawing up, and I'm wondering if anyone's willing to give some feedback to help it improve. That's it, thanks :)

I am pretty new to composing (only started 2-3 years ago) and I would like any critique, feedback, or suggestions, etc. for some of my original comps.
This would be greatly appreciated Thanks :)

I am looking for theme for an imaginary annual award ceremony for animation. If you are interested please say so. If you already have a piece in mind, get it to me asap. Thanks. Also the name is the Spring Creek Awards for Animation, if it helps. I would prefer a fanfare, but anything goes.
A front ensemble lot tune! It has sound effects and panned audio! MANY time signatures (9 to be exact) and it sounds spectacular! You wouldn't wanna click away! Enjoy!

A double bass goes to a psychiatrist.
Double bass: Doctor, someone told me I sound depressed.
Doctor: Let's hear it!
Double bass: G - D - ,A - 'E.
The psychiatrist's face darkens.
Doctor: I refer you to a good friend of mine. He will operate on you.
Double bass: And what will become of me then?
Doctor: A cello, a viola and a violin.
This is kinda embarrassing but I struggle with keeping my bow strait on the string. I have tried many different ways but i'm out of ideas. If anyone knows anything that will help please say something. I need to fix this problem.
Help!
Hi everybody,
I play alto sax and want to join my son (cello) and his friend (contrabass) with "das klinget so herrlich" from Mozart's magic flute. Could anybody of you write a nice alto sax voice for me? The aim is that the cello is still the first voice and that the alto doesn't take over. I already prepared a file for you:

Thanks a lot! I will make a recording and publish it here.
best wishes,
