A storm has hit sanctuary...and i(being my idiotic self)am staying out in the storm
Whenever I go to listen to scores online with my iPad or iPhone, the viewing is super buggy. Two examples are:
1. At a certain point in the piece, the playback will just stop, and won’t continue with the piece.
2. If I try to click on a different measure to listen to, it just goes back to the beginning and not to that measure.
Any help would be appreciated.
I cannot add a new song to songbook via email.
I have found an error in MuseScore.

1. Play a score with MuseScore audio.
2. Click a bar in advance.
Result: The audio continues without jumping to the position clicked.
Does not affect Video/AudioScores or Synthesiser (the latter is in a bad state, incidentally).
Google Chrome 72.0.3626.81 and FireFox 65.0 are fine.
Using Safari 11.1.2 - Mac 10.11.6.
Please make it more obvious where to report musescore.com bugs. Add "Report Bug" in the drop down account icon menu in the upper right of the webpage. I don't know whre to report bugs?
Today we published release 2.2.0.
We combined your collections in one screen - the Library. Search the Library searches all your collections.
We added auto-suggestions when searching the Browse screen so you can better what you are really looking for.
We redesigned the design to improve your experience with the app.
If you have any problems after the update, please feel free to comment.
Goliath is like Ripper but bigger...i need support!
This is just because, well why the heck not XD
In a comment on the piano roll demo two months ago, MusicScore stated they would make it so that you can post the piano roll directly to YouTube. Has this happened yet, or is it still in the works?

Hello! Mark and I have finalized the brass parts for the ballad of our original show, 2 + 2 = 5. The ballad we've chosen is The Hymn of Acxiom by Vienna Teng, as we believe it fits the theme of the show - George Orwell's "1984" - perfectly.
If you are unfamiliar with the project, here is a quick summary:
Mark and I plan to have as many of you submit recordings of yourselves playing through the show as we can. We will then compile the recordings into one large file, and place it over virtual drill that Mark is writing, to create a virtual drum corps of sorts. If you'd like to record, here's all the info you'll need!
You can play through as many parts as you'd like. In fact, we would much appreciate it if you did! (For example, if you play the trumpet, it will be better for the end result if you record and submit all three trumpet parts, rather than just doing one) Of course, you don't have to do this! Mark and I will be listening through each recording of the trumpet soloist's part, and picking the one we think would best benefit the overall recording.
We would prefer if you submit one large (3-ish minute) recording, but if you find it difficult to play through the part(s) in one sitting, please refer to the recording guide below!
Here is the link to all the parts: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CTplR1RBHZX2YCJZ80M35VF20sjaPI9u?usp=sharing
3.) Recording Guide
Recording One: Beginning to Letter D
Recording Two: Letter D to Letter F (Trumpets, include two measure pick-up)
Recording Three: Letter F to Letter I
Recording Four: Letter I to the end
Again, we'd much prefer your recording be from the beginning to the end, to simplify our own work, but we decided to include this in case some need the breaks in between. Trumpets obviously don't need a recording one/four, as they don't play at these points. Please play the part at the exact tempo that's listed. This can easily be done by playing along with the recording (preferably while wearing a headset!).
If you have recorded the entirety of the ballad at once, submit an MP3/MP4 file with this name as the format:
If you used the segmented guide above, use this format:
Send submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any questions, ask them below! Thanks everyone!

Would it be very difficult to add a Read Ahead capability in the style of the Read Ahead App already existing for Ipad to the Musescore play function? The beats disappear before being played forcing the user to read ahead.
your app-version of musescore is awesome. But there are two small features that are missing which would be such a huge user experience improvement:
1. Remembering the zoom level
Things like tempo and muting instruments are saved, but not the zoom level. It really sucks to zoom in a few times on every small practice session.
2. Prescrolling the notes
When all notes displayed are played, the next pages appears. But in that moment you don't know what to play, because you simply can't see it. You can't play a piece completely without interruptions. Just scroll a bit when you are half way trough the notes currently displayed or something like that.
If these two things get implemented, i'll be premium member for years... guaranteed! :)
Thanks for listening and keep up the great work.
I had a perfectly good MuseScore 3 working program, after upgrading to the latest version 3.0.5. There was a link to download MuseScore Drumline, which I clicked and installed the extension. Now I can't get MuseScore to load at all!
I've re-downloaded it but Windows 10 refuses to open it. All I get is increased CPU and Memory usage and eventually I have to close the unopened app.
I got 11 pieces to prepare for next week and I'm too slow reading *PANIC*
I found about Audiveris https://musescore.com/import !
worked fine the first pdf but then kept the second pdf in queue since yesterday without any result, all scores have good quality, contrast an not so complex!
Is there a way to take out the music out of queue so I can retry for example?
Can I do the computing with my machine instead of queue it somewhere?
Did somebody tried to install Audiveris from the Github repo?
I have a Mac and before installing a virtual machines for running Windows so I can install it I wanted to make sure it works etc!
Thank you for any tips or advices :D
I'm trying to transcribe a measure in Chopin's Op 64 No 1 Waltz. The timing for the piece is 3/4, however there is a measure that has 4 quarter notes in the right hand. I've been able to get MuseScore to show it by creating a custom tempo for that measure, but there is an invisiable rest, and I can't get the spacing right in the left hand.
See the link below for a picture.
Thank you your help!
You guys like the new Sanctuary Picture? I made this so just wondering if you guys like it and Also if you want me to make one just ask :P
This is a problem which has existed for quite a while, and it would be good to sort it out definitively.
Many of us use the "Share" option to embed an HTML "iframe" of the MuseScore player in our own website. It's really useful for making practice files for choral societies and church choirs.
With a MuseScore file that creates its own playback, it usually doesn't matter which web browser you use: it plays normally. But if the score is sync'd to a performance recording on YouTube as the default sound source, then the playback doesn't work on all web browsers.
Here is the result of a test of various browsers which I ran today:
- Chrome 73.0.3683.75 = broken
- Edge 42.17134.1.0 = broken
- Firefox 65.0.2 = plays ok
- Internet Explorer 11.648.17134.0 = plays ok
- Opera 58.0.3135.107 = plays ok
- Vivaldi 2.3.1440.60 = plays ok
You can run the test yourself on my HTML page, where the SATB player is linked to a YouTube performance by Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir:
Can you think of any 32 bar/16 bar phrase for trumpet that would sound great in a band?
