Farrokh Bulsara (5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991), known professionally as Freddie Mercury, was a British singer-songwriter and record producer, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Mercury wrote numerous hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Somebody to Love", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "We Are the Champions". He led a solo career while performing with Queen, and occasionally served as a producer and guest musician for other artists.
With the UK release of the film Bohemian Rhapsody on October 24 and the US release on November 2, there has been a dramatic rise in attention to Mercurys life and Queen’s music. Here in this hub, we’ve collected beloved favorites from Queen’s catalog in honor of Mercury’s indisputable affect on pop music in the 20th century.
We WILL rock you!
P.S. If you think of any songs not in the list feel free to suggest them in the comments!
I reckon we should make arrangements for some of Queen's underrated songs. Like My Fairy King or Drowse!! Just a thought. I'll start work on some Queen song!
I was wondering what the most common saxophone variant is, whether is be soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone. Can you tell me your type.
Hello, all! Since Phia_Jo left, and I haven't found time to update this group myself, I'm considering closing the Group of Groups. That said, if you guys still find this useful, I'll keep it up. But I'd like to know that, otherwise it's just another dead group. Comment below if you'd like it to remain, otherwise I'll close it in a month or so. Thanks!
I am finally going to start learning alto sax
Here's a waltz that I wrote a while ago now. I hope that you enjoy it. Let me know what you think. :)
