So, I am just a flute player who loves to study music theory and the baroque period of music. I have loved to make music revolving around using a mixture of woodwind and violin instruments while dabbing with Basso Continuo every once and a while. Just wondering how I upload stuff and get acquainted and all. Thanks!

Why are there transposing instruments? I mean you play a certain note but the one you played is different than the one written on the music? Why do we have this? Why dk we make it to where the Bari sax is reading treble clef? That's really just kind of twisted...

This is a theme I wrote for the Palancar Valley, a location in one of my favorite book series, Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle. If you are unfamiliar with the location, it is where the hero first lives, before setting off on his adventure (I also recommend you go and read the books!). This is a work in progress, there are supposed to be some cymbals and snares, but MuseScore wasn't playing them properly. I have ported this over from Sibelius as an xml file, so that could be where the problem lies. I hope you enjoy it, I plan to be writing quite a lot for this book series!

So, I'm a senior at an arts high school (it's called TSA look it up), and I just got into composing music last year. This song is still in progress, not all the instruments are up yet (including the second clarinet), but I know I'm a hot mess express anyway so it's honestly fine. If you let me know how bad it is I won't throw shade.
