Recently made a new grade 2 song, I think its good. Got most of the chords to sound right.
Coming from a Christian, I have mixed views. Religion is fine and dandy, but RELIGION KILLED JESUS. (And hundreds, maybe thousands, of others)
The Pharisees, who were religious leaders, felt Jesus was violating their religion. They killed him.
But religion has also molded much of the future for us (I don't think I said that right :P)
You know, prayer, reading Scriptures, meditating on it, that has helped me A LOT. Does that count as religion? I have no idea! So, I dunno.
I think religion is the pursuit of righteousness.
I think that religion is good, but discriminating people who don't follow it? Not good. It is good, but being too legalistic? Not good.
It's good, but humans messed it up.
For me, it's not religion that's important, it's relationship. With Jesus.
For me, being a Christian is not trying to pursue righteousness and religion, but a relationship with God.
What's your take? :P
(btw, I'm not separating Christianity and religion, but being religious and being Christian )
Also, thank you katiedoylemusic for pointing out that he indeed rose again, but that's besides the point
I was watching this kid. We were playing on the win together and then he looks at me. He says, "Why does it smell like pee in here?" I look at him and his pants were sopping wet. Now he was probably in the second grade. And he was also at my house, so I didn't have anything he could change out of... plus my mom was at work. In a despair ate moment, I let him borrow a pair of old leggings for the day (thank heavens he didn't pee in those!). His mom have me an extra $10.
I was also taking care of this girl and she kept biting me. She was also high on sugar because she had a s'mores milkshake. That kid had some jaws, let me tell you.
Beautiful piano cover from Stephen Foster's song, check it out!
Imagine you set a timer for a googol (10^100) seconds on your Alexa. You have no idea what you just did, because your Alexa won't let you cancel the timer. So you have to kill time until it goes off so you can say, 'Alexa, Off' and do the world a favor.
So boys, lets begin killing time.
Teleport to the sun. Take 1 step every, say...billion years. Lots of time to think about what you have just started. Assuming 1 step = 1 meter, then it would take 4,366,813,000 steps to complete the journey around the circumference of the sun. That's a way to complete your Fitbit goals. Then, with the amount of time it would take, it would take 4,366,813,000,000,000,000 YEARS to complete this first step. That would be 137,806,137,928,800,000,000,000,000 seconds.
Then teleport back to earth. Take 1 drop of water from the Earth's oceans. 1 drop = 0.05 milliliters. There are 20,000 drops in a liter, and a trillion liters in a cubic kilometer. There are 1.332 billion cubic kilometers of water on Earth. So there are 26,640,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 drops of water here. Every time you take a drop, repeat walking on the sun. This would take 3.671e+51 seconds total.
Once you have drained the ocean, dump a grain a sand into space. After you dump a grain of sand, then repeat walking on the sun then draining the oceans. 1 trillion grains of sand are in a cubic meter. Earth is 1 trillion cubic kilometers. 1 cubic kilometer is 1 billion cubic meters. So Earth would take up 1.e+33 grains of sand. Repeat walking on the sun, then draining the ocean, then dumping grains of sand until you have made a new Earth. This would take 3.671e+84 seconds total.
"What do your potatoes say to you before you eat them?"
So, Phia had this posted, but she's gone and I'm trying to get this group active, so I'm asking the question again.
Also, I know this is a bad idea, but I'm going to choose another admin. So, your story that you post in this discussion, if you want to be an admin, must follow these rules:
1. It must be true, and has to have happened to you, not someone else.
2. It has to be written in proper English. In other words, "girl" can't be "gal", etc.
3. It has to actually be funny.
4. It can't contain anything inappropriate, profanity, etc.
If it goes against any of these rules, you will automatically be eliminated from the contest.
Also, I won't be very active until Sunday or Monday, so if you request to join the group, you may not get accepted until then, but the contest closes on the 30th, so you should still have time.
You can still post stories, even if you don't want to participate in the contest. Just, please, specify whether your story is for the admin contest or not.
Answer in your time zone without revealing your location. For me, 19:21 tonight.
I haven't had a lot of teachers, soooo
So I'm currently working on copying a piece that I made a sort of arrangement on from Flat.io onto Musescore but the "Violin" and "Cello" ensembles aren't playing any sound whenever I hit the play button to listen to it.
I've been trying to mess with the inspector and velocity settings but it hasn't done anything. Can someone kindly help out? Much appreciated if someone could.
My sneezes have a really strong smell. Anytime I sneeze people mention it
The skin under my fingernails is really small (like how it kinda looks like a circle for most, mine is like a semicircle)
My elbows can't stretch fully, so they still look bent when I go all the way
anyone else have weird things like that
Edit: I forgot I can also do the clover tongue thing
