Android MuseScore app fails to open MuseScore files

The MuseScore app (with the integrated Songbook functionality) fails to open MuseScore files (e.g. on the file system or as e-mail attachments). The MuseScore app is simply not suggested as an app to open a .mscz file with.

Any other users having issues with this?

The good old MuseScore Songbook app (not available anymore for new users) doesn't have any problems with that on my Android devices.

How old are you?

I know this is a little personal! I know we have a lot of different age groups, some in high school, and some 16,teens, and grown ups! I will tell you my age, but you’ll think I’m too young to be here, and too young to be in charge of some groups! I’m 11 years old, in 6th grade, and some of you know that I’m in a relationship, but who cares if I’m too young(my younger sister that’s who!) You don’t have to share your age here if you don’t want to!

Banana Recipe Contest

Yeah, another contest, but not necessarily with musical compositions. A number of banana recipes have already been posted in the comments to "banana, signature edition" and you are invited to submit your own unique/strange/fascinating banana recipes in this new contest. First, second, third, and honorable banana mention awards will be given. No rules ('rules? we don't need no stinking rules'). So let the merriment begin. The contest will end January 1, 2015.

MuseScore Android doesn't show bottom toolbar

Tapping into the score toggles the toolbars. On my phone toolbars are shown on top and bottom of the screen. On my tablet the bottom toolbar with the transpose button is missing, the top toolbar is shown.
Musecore Android version is the latest 2.2.6. I had a  V 2.2.6 before with a different behaviour.
For screenshots see here:

I reported the same issue before for previous versions:

MuseScore Android 2.3.3 doesn't open offline files

I bought Songbook before but MuseScore 2.3.3 doesn't reliably open offline files. In rare cases (1 out of 5 to 10 cases) it works. I cannot reproduce when it works and when not. I tried
- MuseScore already open or not
- being logged in or not
This had worked better (but not really good) in previous versions
I'm losing my motivation for testing and reporting errors because nobody seems to care and the app is getting worse and worse.

Who views my work before I do?

I could not help but notice that whenever I upload something at least one person (as many as 4) "view" it before I do. I'd like to think its the folks at Mariinsky or the Amsterdam Concertgebouw checking me out, but I rather think something more cynical. There are a few thousand people in this corner of the universe and I doubt it is immune to malfeasance. I'm sure the work of many MS people are stolen. I'm also NOT blaming you folks who run this place and only wish I had the tech savvy to come up with a solution. work is uploaded with my name and avatar and there is a record of the date of upload, yes? Can I assume this (along with manuscript or hard copy) is some sort of protection in the event the scapegrace is discovered?
Also, I had noticed Mark Sabatella had an idea for a conduit to direct MS compositions and arrangements to performers which he put forth on this page. As yet I've seen no follow up, no doubt he is busy with Version 3 and all his teaching and video activities (quite a load for one person). I think this is essential -  as long as our work is available to charlatans we should have a conduit towards good application. MS prides itself in its score reproduction. Lets get our work in the right hands, too. We should advance his idea and do what we can to assist. Thanks.

Score Not Uploading Correctly

I have tried to get this score to upload for about 5 days now; I really don't know what else to do

It either stays on "Score is being processed. It will automatically be displayed when finished." or will be put up without playback. I have re-uploaded several times and even re-did the score from scratch. Any help would be appreciated even if I'm overlooking something obvious.

mike320 sent me here to see if y'all could help me get this sorted out

Progress in reviewing the transcriptions

In English:
I am glad to tell you that Movement 3 has now been reviewed and corrected in full. The Scherzo was transcribed by pental and the Trio by fredipi: thanks to you both for great transcription work.

There are still some collisions (e.g. between measure numbers and tempo directions).  But I have left these cases, because the measure numbering is currently "every 10 measures".  The final score will have measure numbering "at start of each system".

Please report any other problems which you may spot in the "REVIEWED" versions.

RSA Contest 3 - I N T E R E S T I N G challenge - UPDATE

So the results are in for the I N T E R E S T I N G challenge, and thank you all who participated.
Buuuuuut a winner can't be determined yet.

Cause 3 people tied with a perfect average score of 30/30...
Congrats mnmwert, Kyle Soliz, and Mr. Peabody :P

So next up...the FINALS :D
These three people are gonna do another mini challenge to determine who the TRUE winner is...and the challenge I came up with is pretty darn evil >:D

You are to compose a piece using any notes you want in 15 minutes or less (and again, set a timer and stop when it goes off just so you don't ruin your or others' fun :P).

But! You're not allowed to use the same interval twice (>:D). For example, once you've used a perfect 4th, you can't use that interval again (ascending or descending) for the rest of the piece.
Edit: k so someone asked if you could use the same interval in both hands (like on a piano) at the same time. I said yes...but ONLY AT THE SAME TIME. :P You can't use it in the right hand in one bar and use it in the left hand 4 bars later.
Deadline is this Sunday (April 28th).

Good luck! >:D
