New but "experienced" per say

Hello! I'm new to the site/group. I used to play the violin for years and loved it. My parents divorced and my mother stopped me from playing out of spite to my father. Dumb I know. However playing has continued to stay as a passion though I was unable to actually play.
Well it's been a number of years and I'm a grown functioning adult and I'm starting myself up again. I'm starting from scratch with the basics and all. And I've progressed pretty well. My goals are to play a number of songs I wanted to learn years ago.
Songs from the Lord of the Dance, TSO, and a number of gaming themes.
I'm happy to be here and excited to get to know everyone in this community as newbie as I currently am.

The violin

A violin is taken to hospital. The doctor examines her and says:
"There's nothing wrong with you. But you broke your bow. How did that happen?"
Violin: "I only remember the thunderous applause for the composer."
Doctor: "Do you remember his name?"
Violin: "No. I think he was on the first page of the sheet music."

Pianist composes for violin?

Hi! I just started playing violin, it's very hard as a pianist, especially when the violin does not use finger 1 so I always get confused... Anyways, if there are any beginner violin players, this one you can play along to: https://musescore.com/colorsofsound1/scores/5376916
P.S. It's weird composing for violin, I'm so used to a keyboardლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ But, feel free to check out my profile. :)

Viola/Bass duet?

Would anyone happen to have any viola and bass duet pieces? Me and my friend are looking for something that is beginner-intermediate*, and the bass part does have something more than quarter notes. I'll also be okay with a Viola/Cello part, as long as it doesnt go below a low E. Thanks!

*We've been playing for about six months, and the hardest we've done is doing Moana songs (like 4 songs in one score). I'm sure we could also figure out a intermediate piece too.

Composing a String Quartet, want some feedback

So I only have a few measures of a first movement but I hope to expand this into a full 4 movement string quartet. Thing is, I find it hard to get the combination of being in sonata form and still being interesting when it gets past duets into trios and quartets. I know it should be easier because I have more freedom with a string quartet than with a piano sonata but no, I have always found piano sonatas easier to compose.

Here is my first draft. You can see that I go from a Tutti to the cello playing solo which really brings out the warm sound of the cello. I plan on having the other instruments come back one by one until I reach Tutti again. So here is the link:
