I'm fairly new to this website, and I'm trying to find a particular song that was played in a movie called HIGH STRUNG FREE DANCE..
under spotify it is named "theme from free dance" by Nathan Lanier.
please if anyone could help me transcribe this for me i would love love love love to play this song!
so.. i dont know how to play a string instrument or how to write a string quartet, but i did. the result of my lack of string knowledge is a piece that im pretty sure would be very difficult or maybe impossible to play. then again it could be really easy, who knows...
I'll probably sit some day and make it full lenght, so I'd like to know if it can be called that :).
This was one of my first pieces I threw together. I like to add to it as I think of things. I am pretty new to music theory and have a basic understanding of counterpoint so can you give a quick listen and let me know what you think?
Sorry to bother you, but I have recently finished a piece for solo piano.
It would greatly help if you could comment on something I could work on.
Please listen to the whole thing! (you don't have to)
I have had VERY severe writer's block for 2 months, and this is a result
of just forcing myself to work.
Thanks a bunch, Lachlan. :D
So I've been working on this all day but I've been really stuck on how to continue from Measure 16. I feel like I should write something similar to Measure 9-16 before I transition to the next part but I'm not 100% sure. What do you think about the heterophony? Please let me know!
Hey, everybody. I'm writing a concerto and my ideas are running a little bit dry even though I'm only on the second movement. Could you please share some ideas.
I am a fan of Irish music (https://erickeller.es/), even though I live in Spain. I am learning to compose music. My latest entry has been this: https://erickeller.es/index.php/compose/70-2019-11-17-compose-do-you-remember.
Now I am looking for another great tune that could be worked into a larger composition. It should sound typically Irish and should be musically interesting, even challenging. I am particularly interested in a tune with a strong and potentially challenging flute track.
Would anyone have a particular suggestion? I would be happy to give ample credits for all suggestions and leads.
With my best wishes, Eric Keller
I'd like to try something fun in my new role as co-administrator of Laugh Silly. Each Month, I will name the best laugh-inducing, silly composition submitted during the month, at least according to me and then post the winners here.
You are also welcome to nominate what you think are the best of the month, also.
hey can someone make sheet music to the song "Highs and Lows" by Hillsong Young & Free please? this is one of my favorite songs by them and I can't find sheet music for it. Here is the link for it -
. I would love to be able to play it. So could someone make sheet music for it? Not really hard but not to easy difficulty.
So basically, if you don't like to listen to whole piece I'd really like you to give feedback for Third Movement.

When converting a guitar concerto to MuseScore from a different app I thought that the second movement would sound nice on piano and this is it. For now it’s called GC2R for Guitar Concerto 2nd Reduced. I’ve tossed a few things around but don’t have a good title yet so please name this tune.
