I was wondering what the most common saxophone variant is, whether is be soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone. Can you tell me your type.

Hello Fellow Brass Musicians,

I have been playing trumpet for a while now. My range goes all the way to double C and a Double B flat(Meaning a good tone on B Flat). As my range goes up, I noticed that my resistance is not as good (I loose my chops faster, and can only practice my music for an hour before I have to stop) I have tried loosening up and using more air to hit high notes but it still doesn't work. If any of you could help, I would appreciate it so much!

I was wondering if there was any intermediate saxophone and piano duets that are Jazz that anyone on here has played and would like to tell me about? 

Wondering which mouthpiece/reed combination are you, guys using? For which style of music and with what kind of sax?

In this group, all brass players will perform in an ensemble. We will not physically gather and play together. Instead, we will film ourselves and I will put all of the filmed videos together. It will look very cool!

Hello! I am a cellist & I have been arranging pieces into duet & trio form, both for use in ensemble performances as well as for students to play with me in their lessons.  I am going to upload a couple of Christmas tunes to see how they work for you. These are easily transposed into viola - cello duets & generally work very well (though you may have minor adjustments on notes that go below the normal instrument range).

 (String rotors are the rotors that use strings tied and looped to connect to the rod pushed by the keys or trigger. Rod rotors are rotors that use the rod from the key or trigger to directly rotate the rotor from the outside.)
