Best Hamelin Recordings

Marc-Andre Hamelin is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest virtuosi alive, and has recorded all manner of pieces. I would like to enquire as to the personal preferences of this group with regard to this Canadian master?

My own favourite recordings of his:

Alkan's Symphonie pour Piano Seul; Concerto pour piano seul; Le Festin d'Esope.
Liszt's Sonata H-moll
Saint-Saens' Piano concerto no. 2, third movemnet.

That last piece he performs unassailably.

Hi everyone, would you help me improve? :)

Hi, musical composition is my favorite pastime but I know I do not do it very well. Could you help me improve by giving me your criticism, advice and anything else I can learn from? I would really appreciate it: D

The Virtuoso Piano Discussion-Contest! (2)

As promised, albeit delayed, this is the second contest! I'm not calling the second "week" because I will extend the period to nearly two weeks because I will be away for a period of time, but nevertheless, the competition ensues. The contest is created as a personal quest to find challenging music (and still in the realms of playability) that is technically sound and/or emotionally charged, and also as a platform for virtuoso pianist/composers to show off their skill. Here are a few rules:

1. Instrument: Piano Solo only
2. Duration of piece: Maximum of 7 minutes
3. Style of piece that is allowed this week: Fugue and/or Toccata
4. Only one piece per person per style
5. Leave the link in the comment below
6. It cannot be a transcription (obviously).

The deadline of the contest will be on the 22/12, 1400 hours (GMT)

The songs submitted must be as hard/equal in difficulty to the songs below:

(Fugue)
Nightmare Scherzo (Piano Sonata no. 1 mov. 2) by Mason K. Ichida

(Toccata)
Toccata or "Rush Hour", from Cityscape, movement 1, by kenneth.r.t.

SCORES RATED ABOVE 4.5:
ChrisHill - Etude no. 4 in F-Sharp Minor, "Inflexion"

Challenges of the "week" will be in the comment below, soon to be posted. I sincerely apologize for using my score as a challenge for the competition, however there seems to be a lack of hard original fugues that I think would be a good standard for the competition. I did comb through listening to a few pages worth of original fugues, and toccatas were even harder to find.

The winner of the previous week was ChrisHill, a hearty congratulations! For those who are able to obtain above 4.5 from me in this competition, his/her score will be posted as above for the next week. The score with the highest rating for the competition will win the competition!

Hey, could someone make a score for me?

Hey guys, just joined the group, and I LOVE flutes. But it is kinda hard to do that when you are a 7th grade BOY and people tease you because your a boy and you play flute. Its dumb. Sorry, that has nothing to do with what im about to ask. Could someone make a Flute/Violin duet of Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull. Even though nobody is probably going to do my request, im just gonna say thanks. Thanks!

Piano, clarinet, violin and drums

Does anybody know a popular popsong that sound good with a piano, clarinet, violin and drums? I've already played 'Like I Can' from Sam Smith and I'm looking for something similar.
If you know a song, please let me know. If you have the sheetmusic from it for a piano, clarinet and violin (I don't need it for the drums) then it would be totally awesome. Thank you in advance.
