can you give me some feedback on this piece..
I’m looking for some nice music if you could give so suggestions that would be great!
(I’m not too advanced, I’m in 8th grade and I have 3 years experience ((I’m in the 7th grade band since I moved, since I wasn’t there last year and it was a requirement to be in the 7th grade class before the 8th grade class, if that really makes a difference))
Guys please help last Friday my wisdom teeth were remove making playing difficult and I don't want dry socket. Can you help me with playing techniques to start playing again.
(P.S. check out my pieces A Joyful Noise and Happy Days)
Thanks and please help any advice will be very and gratefully needed.
I've taken the liberty in transcribing the Traditional March Downfall of Paris.

Hey brass players, I'm just trying to get my name out there, so go check out Darth Mauldin on youtube, link here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyt1_lzcezGK3RXhIPZyR9Q
Please leave a post in this discussion for any kind of feedback.
I'm in one of the first ensembles to play the piece, and if you can get your hands on it, you need to play it. It's a very Clarinet-heavy work, with an Oboe Solo (Clarinets play a second, hidden part, so I don't know if it's a solo), A trumpet solo, a Flute solo, and a Sax Quartet. Music for a gentler time indeed...
It might not be released yet, just look for the Clinton High School Wind Ensemble's performance of it in March. It may be released, I don't know. Just keep a look out.
(If I'm way to active, let me know)
Great emotional piece with some legendary oboe solos. Be sure to have mastered dynamic influence while going into notes, that's a key part in this song. Don't forget to breath, you'll need all the air possible for this one.
I mostly play the tbone, baritone, and trumpet and I'm getting braces soon. Does it affect playing?
The craziest people I've ever known are double reeds. Like thinking about the strangest things for no reason, even though you have no interest in them. Maybe it's the back pressure getting to my skull.
Will let you know if I get any aneurysms lol
To all those who play the flute, what exactly do we call ourselves? Like people who play the clarinet are clarinetists, people who play percussion are percussionists, but what are we? Flutists? Flautists? Floutisits? Flutation devices?
Hiya fellow flautists,
Wondering if I could get any feedback on this Disney medley I arranged for the school flute quartet I play in. Any criticisms great appreciated xx
Right, so I'm just starting off on trombone. I've never played a brass instrument before this, just woodwinds and strings.
First off, I was wondering if anyone knew any techniques to help with having a longer playing time before taking a breath or any exercises to help with breathing too much when playing. I don't have a lot of lung opacity and I take a lot of breaths. Also, when I'm playing high notes sometimes my lips sorta buzz and I thinks it's my embouchure getting too small, but I just want some feedback on that and how to help that. Thanks!
we made an arrangement, based on the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps version of Drowsy Maggie.

Hey everyone, I play flute and have been for 3 years now, but all of my friends were just like "oh, why do you play flute when spit comes out?"
Dont people know its condensation lol
but still its annoying
Hi I've been playing flute for about 2 years now and I'm at the intermediate level. At a band camp I went to this summer, and got my vibrato down (with help from my director and a college student) that the guy at my solo and ensemble contest said I needed to learn....But then when the college girl who was helping me said 'oh you need to learn flutter tonging' I was like 'o wat' so now I need help.
Can you help me out on this one? I have a concert coming up and I don't want the notes to be all squeaky.
Check out this awesome arrangement I made for the themes of Star Trek, the Original Series and the Next Generation.
I have this thing whilst playing my flute and after playing a long note I take a very loud breath? What should i do? (all my friends anf family say they can hear me breathe when im doing performances!
Hey, I know this is a really weird question, but does anyone else have a problem where your face and hands get tingles/ pins and needles while plying the flute???
Because that happens to me sometimes in band
