Flute Notes
I've been playing the flute for 3-4 years now, and I STILL CAN"T MEMORIZE EVERY. SINGLE. NOTE.
Are you guys:
1. Someone who memorizes notes
2. Someone who memorizes where their fingers go at each place

I any of y'all mind... could you recommend any music to me? I honestly don't care what kind of music it is though... Thank you so much!!! :)
So, I made it my goal to try and play Flight of the Bumblebee before my High school experience ends and I need help learning how to do circular breathing. I've seen videos as to how to do it and have been trying for a week with no progress. I'm only in Grade 10 at the moment and is halfway through semester 2. That means I've got more than two years to do this. Can anyone give me some tips? I've got my technique down for the flute and I think that I'm pretty decent--tone and tonguing wise. The only thing that needs work is breathing for me. I'd appreciate it if you could also give me some tips regarding my breathing.
Thanks!
Can someone please arrange a Flute Trio for "You are My Home" from Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chipped? Thank you in advance to whoever receives this request
Ok so I've been playing the flute for a while now, about two years, but I still have trouble keeping a consistent high note
So like, when I play a high note it goes in and out of being a high note and a low note
Could anyone recommend some sheet music? I'm a sixth grader and I have 3 years of experience playing flute. Thanks!

Does anyone have any tips for getting the most out of your air? I am just starting out on flute which I am already loving, but I run out of breath really quickly. It's probably because I go an octave higher by breathing harder even though I'm not really supposed to do that. HELP PLEASE!!!!!
I just joined jazz band and although I originally play the flute, now I'm playing the tenor sax and finding it a bit difficult. Any tips?
Could somebody recommend some easy duets for sixth graders? Thanks
I am currently working on an album called 'Harper' and this is the latest addition. I'm really impressed by how well the flute and piccolo parts turned out.

Hello dear woodwinds,
There are pieces for double bass and wind ensembles already, but they are rather difficult to listen to, so I've been arranging two pieces originally for double bass and piano; one of them to woodwind quintet, and the other one to concert band. I've been studying woodwinds a lot so I think I've made nice parts. Please have a listen:

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has found good High Hopes sheet music. Thanks!
Have any of you named your flutes? I'm trying to name mine(lol) and thought it would to hear what you guys have named yours.
*edit* I have 2 flutes and I named them Charlotte Marie and Elise Jean
I really wish I'd found this website earlier. It's awesome! Does anyone have any pieces they'd like to recommend? I have been playing the flute for 6 years and would love to have something more challenging than what is being offered in band. Unfortunately I only have a standard flute with none of the extra keys that advanced flutes have, so I can't go very high, but I know how to play some high level pieces. I really just want to do a cool solo for fun but I have no idea where to start. Can you help me?
Where are my *cough* fellow gamers who play the flute, I haven't seen many posts here about this kinda stuff and I feel lonely, let's just share some music so we can all feel lonely together.
I’m looking for some nice music if you could give so suggestions that would be great!
(I’m not too advanced, I’m in 8th grade and I have 3 years experience ((I’m in the 7th grade band since I moved, since I wasn’t there last year and it was a requirement to be in the 7th grade class before the 8th grade class, if that really makes a difference))
Why are there transposing instruments? I mean you play a certain note but the one you played is different than the one written on the music? Why do we have this? Why dk we make it to where the Bari sax is reading treble clef? That's really just kind of twisted...
Hi everyone,
#MusescoreMonday again.
This time we shared a cool troop cadance.
