4/15/19: 8 Members 2 Discussions Eek! I forgot to do this yesterday. The group is already dying, so uhh… :o @Jaybird1 is one of the first truly active members, I told him I would give him a shoutout here, so here you go :P
4/26/19: 14 Members 3 Discussions I haven't updated this in a while, this group is blowing up now...
4/30/19: 22 Members 5 Discussions Holy cow, this group is blowing up. 8 members in 4 days, wow...

5/22/19 55 Members 8 Discussions So I had to kick a member (Indy500) for spamming a link to an unsecure website. Sorry, but spam for no purpose is not tolerated.
5/29/19 70 Members 11 Discussions Okay then, I don't know what to say
5/30/19 72 Members 12 Discussions Okay then, I started a discussion trying to get to 1k comments, and I thought it would fail. As I am writing this, Lizzapie, Mnmwert, Vash Hartman, and myself are spamming to get it to 1k. It's already at like 150 or something (every 2 minutes I refresh and I have 10+ notifications lol)
5/31/19 83 Members 14 Discussions So this group is now closing in on 100 members, but we need more discussions!
6/1/19 95 Members 18 Discussions Wow, 5 more members till 100!
6/2/19 100 Members 20 Discussions Woohoo! 100 Members!
6/8/19 113 Members 34 Discussions This group is starting to die
6/18/19 35 Discussions 123 Members Now the member count has capped out at around 1 member per day, BUT this is a random group, and I didn't really expect it to be this active.
6/29/19 36 Discussions 129 Members I'm just going to leave this group alone for a while, only update this discussion every once in a while.
11/22/19 171 Discussions 301 Members Well, I spammed a bunch of discussions, and I actually updated this.
Congrats on earning your Eagle Scout! It is a high honor! Introduce yourself here. Things like: what was your Eagle Project? What were some of your favorite merit badges? Did you receive your Order of the Arrow award? Have a great time.
A double bass goes to a psychiatrist. Double bass: Doctor, someone told me I sound depressed. Doctor: Let's hear it! Double bass: G - D - ,A - 'E. The psychiatrist's face darkens. Doctor: I refer you to a good friend of mine. He will operate on you. Double bass: And what will become of me then? Doctor: A cello, a viola and a violin.
One says: "Hey you, the other day I gave a concert and had to play with someone, who had built a harp like you and me into a wooden box and knocked on it with felt hammers."
There is debate in the Bodhrán community, as to whether the playing should be written down or not. No Bodhrán player I know plays a tune the same way twice, and it is very much playing with the feel of the music.
Having said that, when I first started Bodhrán drumming I found it useful to have a guide as to what to do, so adding Bodhrán to MuseScore may help beginners. Also it would be useful to have the drumming added to a Tin Whistle score, for example, which gives a feel for what the two instruments will sound together.
However if you are dead set against Bodhrán notation, then I understand :-)
So, I just hit the big 300 mark! What should I do? I Was thinking of revamping/ finishing the old old old Phantom of the opera string quartet I had done a million years ago Lol So If you have a suggestion of a piece I should arrange, or an interesting idea for an original, Then feel free to share! Thanks!!!

We (Joseph and Hannah) have decided that every time we double in the number of followers (so right now we're at 5, so it'll be 10, 20, 40, 80, maybe throw in something for 100, 160, etc.) we will alternate posting an original composition to thank you! (It may or may not be very good. We're certainly not experts ;)
I'd like to try something fun in my new role as co-administrator of Laugh Silly. Each Month, I will name the best laugh-inducing, silly composition submitted during the month, at least according to me and then post the winners here. You are also welcome to nominate what you think are the best of the month, also.
here is an idea for a film music contest. here is the scene: Supergirl and wonderwoman are in a face-off and are getting ready to fight.
The challenge: Write themes for each character. incorporate the themes into suspenseful music to accompany the scene showing them getting ready to fight.
wouldnt it be nice if musescore had a group devoted to educating members on music theory, arranging, orchestration... yeah, I know that some high school classes use musescore for teaching music but that isnt exactly what I mean here. I mean a place totally here at musescore where members could make intelligent critical educated helpful comments about music. there are certainly members who are very well educated in music who could help members out with their music, exchange helpful comments, a place where people could actually learn about music rather than the hit or miss experimentation alot of us do. I know I am just talking into the wind, but still, sigh.....oh well.....
