Hi. I`ve composed for a couple of months. I find it very difficult to find inspiration and then turn it into music. So i wondered how other people get their inspiration. How do you make your music.
i dont really use chord progression on purpose. but now i want to learn how to set the character of my piece with the harmony
I feel like I'm disrespecting the art of Trombone by having valves, but then again, the music scores are quality so is it really wrong to be a Euphonium player on a Trombone page?
Hey, I'm a tenor trombone player and am having trouble going beyond middle C without sounding raspy and nasally. These notes are not outside of my range but I cant seem to play them right. Any tips or suggestions?
And if you know this show me a tutorial on how to do that.
I’m a math teacher as well as a pianist, so I thought it may be interesting to combine math and music in a literal sense. This piece is derived from the digits of phi, or the golden ratio. (I assigned 1-9 each a note on the scale, skipping zero) It was an interesting and challenging exercise for me to work within these constraints. I hope you enjoy this short piece!
Does anyone have any favorite one-handed (preferably right) piano sheet music? I recently broke my left arm and am kind of at a loss on how to still enjoy playing piano.
I do not play piano and have come back to attempting to compose for the first time in over 40 years. These are not fact the first piano piece set I have ever attempted
Hi, I am pretty new to composing (only started 2-3 years ago). I have played piano for about 7 years now and cello for 3. I made these songs and any critique, feedback, or suggestions, etc. on my scores are welcome. This would be greatly appreciated Thanks :)
