Hey everyone and anyone!
I'm looking to write some battery parts for practice.
Whether it be for a Marching Show or Indoor Show, I want to get better as a composer.
I can send you the end result of what I wrote if you want, but this is more of a personal thing.
Anything you send me will be kept personal and will not be reuploaded or shown to anyone else.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day/night! ☺
Hey everyone and anyone!
This is my first composure and if you could give me feedback on what I could do differently next time that would be amazing :)
This is my first chamber piece. Though it is an early project, it is an ambitious one. Celebrating the centenary of WW1, piece seeks to pay tribute to those who have fallen of The Great War. Any feeback would me much appreciated!
I have everything set for this 2nd project. And I have found all of my percussion writers, due to the difficulty of this project, I will need more help with writing brass.
Here are the selections of music:
The Triumph of Time - Peter Graham
Pavement Beverage - Juan Makus
King Croacus Battle - Naoko Mitome, Chika Sekigawa, & Yasuhisa Baba
Elegy For a Young American - Lo Presti
White Lava - Leo P and Kevin Congleton
Journey of a Lone Wolf - Simon Dobson
WAIT of the World: MVT 3 (Remembering the Future) - Stephen Melillo
(Up in the air: Never Enough - James Charles & Cimorelli)
Please send me an email if interested : firstname.lastname@example.org
And send a link or file of an example of your transcribing/writing.
hey can u listen to this and see if its good or not and any feedback is welcome!
Musicians And Presidents Welcome To Musicological World 1 2 3 Go!
I don't play battery, so I wrote to the best of my knowledge.
Wassup y'all.. This is a just message to all the arrangers in this group no matter what age, race or gender. I just wanted to remind you to keep grinding & improving. There's always going to be room for improvement, no matter how "good" or "bad" you are at what you do. Even though I may not know most of you we all have one thing in common: a love for music. It's amazing how much love we all share for music because music can literally change lives.. it changed mine. Before music I felt like I didn't have a purpose. I'd join clubs and play sports but I never truly felt at home. This was until I joined band my 8th grade year & my life began to change for the better. Since then I knew that music is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, particularly band. I've grown a lot over the past years playing wise and arranging wise & I'm even drum major now for my high school. But saying all this to say, never give up on your dreams despite all the negative encounters that may come your way. I believe everyone has a purpose in this world & ours is to make the world a better place through MUSIC. Sounds corny but that's just what I truly believe & I'm positive that all of you are gonna be something in the future. Keep up the good work man & always remember that the sky ISN'T the limit, but your mindset is. Stay blessed family.
here's another #MusescoreMonday challange for ya.
