And it's Monday again!
Time for a new #MusescoreMonday release.
This time our team member Daan Cornelissen wrote a traditional march 'Rhine River', inspired by Swiss and Basel drumming.
Check it, learn it, share it!
In my case I would like to have the Woodblocks in the Drum Part of my masterpiece. The reason is, that they should come rarely in some Fill ins and could be played by the Drummer himself.
Or in another case it would be nice, if I could have a Percussion part with Tambourine, Cow Bell, Bongos and Woodblocks.
Is this possible? And does someone know, how it could be possible?
SO I worked a pretty long time to make this lot tune and I'd like to know what group played it, also I don't like my work being put on other people's pages without credit :c
Would love to meet this dude!
This time we shared a cool troop cadance.
Check it out and share!
We'd love to know what you think of it!
If you want me to add your transcription to this list, comment below and I'll add ASAP!
If you already see a show you've transcribed on the list, don't feel any reason not to comment yours anyways, I'll add it!

Hi you all,
we uploaded a new rudimental challenge. It's called Rudimental Progression.
A composition for snare drum, bass drum and drum kit with some progressive changes.
Check it out and let us know what you think of it:
Pioneer's membership in DCI was revoked today. Thoughts?
we made an arrangement, based on the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps version of Drowsy Maggie.
Check our page for more exciting scores!
here's another #MusescoreMonday challange for ya.
The new RD Lick 'Sparkling' by our team member Jesse
Check it out and let us know what you think of it.
Hello, my name is Ben and a friend and I are making a marching band show called Shadows and could really use a battery writer. I personally am a percussionist but right now I'm composing all of the pit music, so that's why I need someone to help out with the battery stuff if they can.
Interested? Email me here: email@example.com
Or you can reply to this post. Either way works for me.
from all of us at Rudimental Drummers a happy new years eve and a great new year.
Here is our #MuseScoreMonday score for this week!
it's #MusescoreMonday again!!!
Especially for the Christmas we added a lick, written on the music
of 'All I want for Christmas' by Mariah Carey.
Happy drumming and have a great Christmas!
In context of #MuseScoreMonday we have added a new score.
This time a Warming Up sequence for Snare, Bass and Cymbals.
Check it out and enjoy!
I really like the tenor saxophone+horn in F combination.
I know that this group isn't very active but I think it should be!
If we updated the profile image and background we could attract alot more newer people to share and express their ideas on saxophone.
I think its important also, to change the name to be inclusive to also military band saxophone. Military band is a very sepecial place in the history of the saxophone and such we should engage in that part of our history aswell!
I need another fellow brass writer and a front ensemble writer! Please comment if your interested!!
Pieces for the show:
Music of the Spheres - Phillip Sparke
Year of the Dragon - Phillip Sparke
Mother Earth Fanfare - David Maslanka
Requim for Band - Quincy Hilliard
Heres the youtube playlist if you want to listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq7z0FMFwVM&list=PLC_aQpeaEdbrCNJMuqzpz_L2Ski6eOKcp&index=1
Please help me and a friend out! Thanks!
I have to say bass. In an orchestra with two of each woodwind, adding a desk of bass saxophones has great results. With the saxophones playing the bass part, the bassoons are free to play the tenor part. You could also use tenor or baritone saxophones to play the tenor and the bassoons play bass but I prefer to use the bassoons as tenors.
I'm looking for some good source music for a marching show that I'm going to be starting here pretty soon. If you have any ideas please contact me. If you want to help or join my team that would be great as well. It's a plus if you live in Central Texas (Austin) so that we can collab pretty often and closely.
I already have ideas for my show starting with:
- Either a 3 or 4 movement show
Some pieces I'm thinking of using come from the following composers:
- David R. Gillingham
- Gustav Holst
- David Beidenbender
- Alan Hovhaness
- Ivan Trevino
