Anyone want to do a collaboration on a DCI show this summer? I have written plenty of shows and just finished 2 stand tunes for my High School Marching Band. I have done a collab with musescore before and it was pretty smooth. hmu of you would like to. I am good at arranging pieces and work good with all instruments.
It seems I'm now advertising another new group. (Well, technically, the group I'm about to advertise isn't "new," but nobody besides me has joined it yet at the time of this writing.) The Musescorer Enochulous has made a group called "Genesis Games Music Team" (link here: https://musescore.com/groups/1892176) and is looking for composers and/or other music department members to help him create and share music for some games he is planning on making. (As far as I can tell, right now he's working on one called ZeroBlade Run.) If you're interested in composing for a video game, I recommend you check it out.
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
I have just created a new group called "Community Remix Competitions." In this group, you can enter contests where you have to arrange other Musescorers' music within certain restrictions. If you want to learn more, here's a link: https://musescore.com/groups/remixcomp
I need somebody to help transcribe the Drumline and Pit for my transcription of the Cavaliers' 2014 show Immortal. The entire brass score is finished, I just need people willing to transcribe in the percussion parts
I have most of the rack part and I have all the percussion in the Dance Macabre section done
The score- https://musescore.com/user/357766/scores/4100606
There are GoPro cams online of the run-throughs of Snare, Tenor, Bass 3, Bass 5 and 2 Marimbas on YouTube, but i don't know how to put heard drum rhythms onto paper so to speak.
If anybody wants to help, leave a comment of any sections/instruments you'd be willing to do
Hello, my name is Alan Tedder and I am going to start a music business and I need some writers that are going to be serious about this and take time to write the best music of their minds and place it on the sheet. I am writing concert and marching band. I am making a website, which it will launce before ( I hope,) Christmas. The music will take a while to develop and as soon as our shows and pieces and other fun stuff come to place and promote my website and the sources, I believe we can have the best music out there! Please consider this, it would make a difference for me and my future as a composer.
Concert: Woodwind, Low Brass, and pit. I will write the percussion 1 and 2 parts for the music.
Marching: Woodwind, Pit, and Drumline. I will write the Low Brass, since I have crazy experience.
I hope some people and I can come together and write and make music as good as our ears can hear. I believe in hard work, and I want to make this thing a living habit, not just a another thing to do. Interested? Email me at Alantedder1@gmail.com for more information.
Hi! I'm Jack and the title says it all. I'm primarily looking for a DCI-style of writer to work with, but I'd be more than willing to work on marching band pieces as well! A drumline writer and an experienced brass writer would be much appreciated.
Hi! I've been transcribing drum corps shows for a bit under a year now. I've always had a problem with transcribing percussion, however. I can somewhat manage to transcribe front ensemble parts sometimes, but I'm mostly lost with snare/tenor/bass parts. If anyone can help me transcribe parts for any of my shows, that'd be great! I'm looking for people who either play percussion and/or are experienced with writing/transcribing perc parts.
If you do send me percussion parts, I'll obviously credit you on the score.
The five shows I have that I'd like to have full percussion scores for at some point are:
Carolina Crown 2010 - A Second Chance
Carolina Crown 2015 - Inferno
Carolina Crown 2016 - Relentless
The Academy 2016 - Drum Corpse Bride
The Cadets 2016 - Awakening
All five scores are in my spotlight, if you'd like to view them. As a last note, I'm sure to transcribe more shows in the future, and I'd love help with those too.
Thanks! Leave a comment or send me a message if you're interested.
Hey! If anyone needs a battery writer, hit me up! I am currently working on an indoor show and would love to write parts for you! If you would like a sample, shoot me a message through musecore!
Hello, my name is Cameron Henn. Im looking into writing shows and have concepts, but I don't really have COMPLETED concepts with music. I play snare drum, have marched everything, and my writing proficiency is pretty decent. If anyone is looking for a writer please write back! Thanks all and happy writing!!!

Hey all, I used to have a bunch of arrangements online. I'm back to start arranging again! :D
give me feedback and advice on my arrangements please
When MS first changed it's format, I was extremely upset. It was a very poor transition with LOTS and LOTS of errors. In the past six months they have cleaned up a lot of problems. They still have not addressed two major problems, as I see it.
1) When cruising the dashboard if you listen to a song, you must go back to the top of the dashboard again. I can go through 7 or 8 pages and then frustration sets in. MS should work towards their software remembering where you are in your dashboard. This would make it much easier to peruse titles.
2) I believe that favourites do not belong on a composers profile page. I would much rather have another 5 of my scores scores show up. This may just be me, but there are many reasons for giving a favourite. Since MS has no "Like" button, I use the Fav for that function. When a young composer has spent a lot of time and energy in trying to write a masterpiece I feel that a fav rewards them for their work. When I really, really like a song... I just download it and add it to my library.
I have looked at other sites, and I see advantages to MS. I will stay, I also intend to make this group larger and more active.
Thanks to all of you members for sticking to the group.
I have a song for a percussion chamber ensemble. I plan for it to be played live but need some opinions and advice on it first. Please comment and tell me what you think of the score and read the description to see what it's about. Please enjoy and I'll soon post a Expert-Level Mallet quartet.
